Strangely, that is exactly the image i have of Celestia. It just always feels like there is something sinister going on with her, only slightly below the surface. She just seems a tad bit too nice and friendly. Also all the ponies (who know more than we about the general situation) are scared as hell of ever getting on her wrong side. Not to mention that she has secret "students" reporting every move of their friends to her, and apparently sometimes imprisons people in the moon for a thousand years without any trials. So basically, Princess Celestia is scary. | ||

Also, everyone is "scared" of her because... well, you don't really want to offend royalty, especially a royalty like Celestia who is so good and kind. | ||
