Considering these are pilots for season 2, this was really interesting. Also Discord is actually an interesting villain instead of that lame whatsitsnameagain in season 1 pilot. Should be a really interesting season wth lets spoiler then but that shouldn't be necessary... | ||

 So what's the schedule for it and when's the next episode going to air? I don't seem to understand the schedule thingy on the hub. I found part on monday (probably a rerun?) which clearly said Part 1 and I found another episde on tuesday and wednesday, but nothing is labeled as "part 2" so I thought it's maybe something else or a special. Sry if this is explained somewhere but I couldn't find it | ||

I loved the episode, but you really have to wonder about their intended audience by now. Discord is almost an exact copy of Q from The Next Generation, there are references to Chocolate Rain and the plot is pretty tricky to understand because it's not made explicit that Discord's goals are different than the typical (as seen in the pilot) "try to turn ponies against each other" as Discord is just controlling them outright. | ||

This is pretty standard for any cartoon-based TV channel, such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and The Hub. That is, this is standard only for top cartoons - when I used to watch CN, Ben 10 was like that for instance, and Ben 10 was pretty famous at the time. So yeah, MLP:FiM achieved "top cartoon" status with two consecutive episodes at its respective time  + Show Spoiler + The Q thing and the chocolate rain are only noticed by the older audience, but its not like it isn't suitable for the show. It's just a reference to old shows, but the target audience is the same. What he does now is playing, and ensuring his continued rule, his real goals come once the threat of the Mane 6 is gone. | ||

The Eq D interviews imply that all of the season 1 episodes were worked on at the same time. I've heard that the original plan was to have this be the end of season one, but forget where I heard that. | ||
