The mechanics of face swapping haven't really been fully explained yet in the books iirc

There are so many conflicts in Westeros that I'm sure something will inevitably come up. Also, i was thinking, the Dothraki aren't really prepared for winter. It's still quite warm in the South but if she wants to take them North against the White Walkers there might be some issues.. My impression was that she is going to try to "acquire" some boats, she's definitely going to get in some beef with some of the other cities. I find this strange, the white walkers are quite close to the wall now and there's still so many episodes. (I;m assuming she is supposed to be involved in the fight against them). If we're talking about the conflict with the white walkers, somehow I don't see her having much of an involvement with that at all, until perhaps the very end. 2 books is not enough to have conflict with white walkers + conflict with Dany imo. 2 books written by Martin anyway. I think it'll all come together in 1 big finale. Somehow 1000 ironborn ships will be in Meereen by the end of the season, and Dany will be sailing towards Westeros at pretty much the exact time the wall falls, or that is my prediction at least. Perhaps a bit optimistic cause it's 100% impossible to wrap up all of slavers bay in the remaining episodes lol. Alternatively the wall could fall, the white walkers could advance through Westeros slaughtering everything, and just as our heroes have their backs to the wall and all looks lost, dany rides in with 3 dragons and all her dothraki/mercenaries to save the day, but I pray that isn't how it goes.

Pray all you want, I'm pretty sure this is how it will end lol. The only thing I'm wondering is will the ending be "bitter sweet" as it's supposed to be in the books or will they go full f*** yeah dragons daenerys saves everyone, weds Jon and they have lots of little targs

It's one of the Dunk & Egg prequel stories. I think ASoIaF will end in much a similar way to that story - where you have a lot of stuff happening throughout, with a lot of things to discover and mysteries to solve, and several "all is lost" moments along the way... but in the end we'll see that there were greater powers at work from even before the story began, guiding the finale to the right end. If we knew what to look for in the beginning, the ending would seem obvious, but we don't right now. The reader in the end will say "Oh, of course! Why didn't I see this before?".

In fact, the children might also be the lord of light as well, since they can talk through fire. They could be behind the volcanic eruption that levelled valyria and started the stone plague. What I'm saying is, the children are the illuminati.

They are doing all the major plot points, just different directions to get there (Jorah getting grey scale, stuff like that). Unless the show creators have changed their mind in the last year, it should end like the books. We'll know for sure in 20 years if we're lucky ![]()

I don't know. This was a weird episode. I'm dreading some super far-fetched face-swap explanation for what just happened to Arya.

I highly doubt that. I'm 99% sure its the real Arya who just got shanked. I'm betting on theater woman to save the day, or she stumbles to the guys ship and he helps her. The way I see it, just depends where the show wants to take her now, if she is really going back home, ship guy will save her. If not theater woman will save her. I mean its just speculation so I could be horribly wrong but it seems more likely then some face swap shenanigans. Edit: Obligatory CLEGANEBOWL FUCKING CONFIRMED!! HYPE!

Yeah I'm also skeptical. She got stabbed twice in the belly right? In the trailer for next episode she's already jumping around again, if that's her at least. I wonder what kind of miracle cure they find for her.
