Yeahhhh...I read the first 4 books (each one was 20 issues, I think?) so I'm really looking forward to some of the stuff that's gonna be coming up. This next episode is gonna be pretty damn awesome, if I'm remembering correctly.

Great episode. They always leave you with something to keep you hooked, but not a huge cliff hanger that you're annoyed. Looks to be a series ill be watching religiously over the next while.

Sick episode!! This ain't your average zombie flick... It was engaging from start to finish. Felt for the deputy at the very beginning.... I dig that they're trying to retain their "humanity" and making an effort to remember that these zombies are people. And I also liked that they're not going to just leave the "extra baggage" in the end. They have to deal with him. He's a real problem. And they must deal with the consequences. I don't wanna spoil anything for anyone here so I'm talking a little vaguely. But as far as I'm convcerned I'm looking forward to the next episode as much as I'm looking forward to the next Dexter episode.

I just finished episode one, and I just wanna say it's a great starter for the show.

Just before he got into the tank at the ending, he said sorry to his wife, and pointed the gun to his head. I thought seriously he was going to shoot himself, but shit he just goes into a hole of the tank and the viewer had no idea it was even there. Did anybody catch that also?

Hmmm it seems they are really starting to deviate from the novels a bit: fast zombies, extra people in the city, next weeks rescue, zombies using weapons/tool etc. I guess it keeps it interesting for the fans though.

Still a great show, I love how they are clearly unafraid to show violence, extreme gore, and profanity, I mean damn, TV sure has evolved in the last 10 years haha.

Also they are doing an amazing job of keeping the "feel" and theme of the graphic novels, which is the most important part.

We have Lin-Hui Cho, Mrs. Jakwanza, Bigoted Redneck #14, T-Dub, Future Mrs. Friendly, and of course MR. SERGEANT FRIENDLY HIMSELF!!! Did I miss anyone? Probably, they were all terribly forgettable.

Objectively the second episode was nowhere near as good as the first one, the acting was pretty subpar, the lines were kinda crappy, not all the characters were very engaging, etc. I mean, I still watched and loved it, but that's because I like societal breakdown scenarios. My GF, who loved the first episode, got through about half of the second episode before the faults got to her (she doesn't watch much TV).

The lead actor is very strong, and I really liked Glen as well.

Saw the first episode for the first time Friday night. Thought it was amazing and instantly got hooked. It's nothing new and innovating. The whole "wake up from a coma to see the whole world is in a zombie apocalypse" has been used before, but it's definitely the best way to go about things in my opinion, as seen in 28 days later. I'm definitely going to be following this series.

Yeah, I was really disappointed that the black guy from the first episode didn't become a major character. It's refreshing to have a black character that is just a normal guy and not a token urban character.
