Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

After weapons and food, armor would be the first thing I would scavenge. They touch on that later in the comics, they may do so in the show as well. I'm not going to spoiler this since it's super vague but they attempt bite-proof equipment later on in the comics and it's semi-effective. In large numbers, it doesn't really matter what you're wearing, you'll eventually get held down and they'll get through the armor. It can be effective against the occasional unexpected chomp though.

I found myself actually really getting into it and enjoying it, wasn't any huge flaw and for once im excited for the next episode !I can understand why he shot him in the knee, a moving, flailing, squirming person will attract way more attention and be a bigger delicious factor than a dead stiff one, some might ignore it and go after Shane, Also really like the last scene you saw at the beginning, when he shaved his hair and you got to know it was from the struggle it made me go 'OH!!' Aaaand it's quite obvious he's gone to the darkside, they were shoving that 'Bad' tattoo in your face, and we all iknow how directors etc like to show some small things of symbolism from time to time

I was really starting to hate all of the characters more and more as the show progressed, and I was just about to stop watching altogether, but now I'm definitely a Shane bandwagon fan. Didn't see that coming at all.

But if you want us to be scared of these zombies or promote the idea that they're some kind of risk can you not have all the characters hanging out on the porch of the farm house. I mean, no one is watching the rest of the fields as to what is about to happen and it's pitch black at night yet there's T-Dog (I can't believe they chose that name) in a rocking chair. I also can't imagine any one watching has any idea what the actual rules are for these zombies. Sometimes they have good senses of smell, sound and sight, other times they're really fast but all this keeps changing willy nilly. I understand the random herds and whatnot (it's explained in the comics) but really, there's so much inconsistancy here and it doesn't make a lick of sense and makes understanding what is happening a lot harder than it needs to be. Comics spoiler + Show Spoiler + Also, how come it seems to be cherry-picked as to which people become zombies when they die? Some have done it (hanged guy) but others haven't (there were a bunch of non-zombie corpses in the cars). What is going on =/ Anyway, the show is decent, I'm mostly just watching to see what they change and how they do certain things and if they're going to add some of the characters from the books. The thing is, I can't imagine too many people who aren't familiar with the comics are that into this show. Also, I'm mourning the loss of awesome Glenn from the comics.

I ran into a dilemma, what is this and do I need to watch it? On the episode list there is a season titled 0, which dates to 2011 and contains the episode 0x00 : Webisodes. With the tagline '6 short episodes, each part is a different ep.' Since 2011 is after 2010 and the first series dates to 2010. I'm confused, do I just start from Season 1 with the episode titled 'Days Gone Bye' and then i'm upto date and all fine and dandy or do I need to watch this 'Season 0' from 2011? Thanks for anyone that responds.

People having dramatic conversations on a porch, in the middle of the night in a zombie apocalypse? WTF?!

Otis, Shane and Rick had to run back with Carl which meant Otis was out hunting deer without anyway of bringing the deer back to the house (no truck). Maybe a large pickup truck would drive the deer away, since you'd be able to hear it from a long ways.

The writing isn't bothering me that much, there is a bunch of cheesy drama but imo the show can't just be zombies 24/7, they need some kind of filler even if its bad. It seemed bad last season too so I don't know what the all the talk is about. Two things that are bugging me though. They go into the zombie graveyard of cars, hide from hundreds of zombies right away... then they decide to stay there because Sophia runs off and they don't run into another zombie for days... wtf? Another one thats not a big deal but bugging me... did anyone notice in that last episode that the window that Otis said he couldn't fit through was frikken huge... coulda fit 2 Otis's through that. I totally seen his death coming, they hadn't killed anyone yet this season and here's this fat guy going on this dangerous mission to get supplies with a badass main character... ya you know who's getting eaten. I think Shane shot him cause the damn fatty wouldn't tire, he was probably just waiting for him to drop but finally realized fatty had some endurance so he popped him. It's like when 2 people are running from a bear, you don't have to beat the bear... just the other guy. Not really a big fan on Karl being shot either. Just seems a stupid thing to happen in a zombie show, I dunno just seemed out of place. Don't hate it though, it'll work. I wonder why Sophia just didn't end up at the house and they got there that way. I guess Sophia will be explained later in the plot.
