Now, if it was a part of the plot that was super show-changing, for example, Rick is the one who actually helped make the zombie virus start and is only pretending to help the group (I just made this up btw), then it would be a huge spoiler. Just the fact someone dies from the beating of that guy (whose name I forgot) doesn't really affect the story much | ||

The overall plot does not mean anything. I'm convinced that most of the actors on the show are using it as their demo reel and to kickstart their careers. So if once of the crew dies then it's a big deal to them because it either means 1. they need to start job hunting QUICK or 2. they already have something lined up and requested to be killed off. But either way, AMC is really trying to up their ante by shilling this show hard. I think they feel threatened by Netflix/Amazon Prime so they resort to doing stupid things like not revealing who died and then attempting to create controversy with leaks and lawsuits and whatnot. | ||

New sneak peak. Sounds to me like Rick is going to lose his right hand, literally. Honestly, the Negan actor originally rubbed me the wrong way but his performance in this 1:00 clip far surpassed his terrible monologue at the end of the last season. He seems a lot more manic and cartoony in this footage which I like! I'm actually looking forward to this season a lot more now. Now that there's actual conflict and a sense of danger. That has been missing for quite some time on the show. Hopefully the writers have grown some balls and will start stripping away the plot armor. | ||

If it was just Abraham (as predicted) it would've sucked. If it was just Glenn it would've sucked. But together and in the manner it was executed, was pretty awesome. I was sure they were going to wimp out and let Daryl's punch slide. Still should've cut off Carl's hand though :p I even liked Negan's actor more after this ep. Probably still won't watch the season though, tWD always suckers me in and then runs out of juice fast. I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship with this show... | ||

+ Show Spoiler + They did a panel with just Andrew, Norman, and Steven, and the asshole host/interviewer said something along the lines of "Spoiler alert: The actors currently on stage are spared!" much to the crowd's applause. He was probably just hyping up the audience by using lame linguistic loopholes, I'm trying to find the specific panel interview to give his exact words a once-over, but can't find it as the search results probably buried it somewhere under the full panel ones. | ||
