I will judge the Walking Dead on its merit as a show all by myself. As a making of, it might have some merit, but it's not even that, really. It´s just a shitty talk show in which they try to justify the dumbest choices they make, and discuss how awesome their good ideas are. It´s mindnumbing. And Walking Dead isn't a good enough show to merit some kind of meta discussion. It has been a long time since it was worth defending the Walking Dead as anything other than a mindless popcorn series, approximately on par with Arrow in terms of realism and depth of their ideas. It does have slightly higher production values, but given that Arrow uses about 3 very cheap sets, that is not very hard. | ||

People can disagree on how well or poorly they tell the story they are trying to tell, the quality of the story itself, etc... But it's not as if it's a mystery. For example Negan and the cliff hanger caused a lot of controversy, but they have their explanation. People can like it or not, but it does exist. Seems it makes more sense to at least take into consideration what they think, even if the conclusion is "they are dumb" or "it's just PR/spin". Point taken though stealth on them not asking some of the tougher questions that occasionally pop up here regarding more significant discrepancies. Here's a bit about the cliffhanger | ||
