As Hyperbola mentioned, the "you're cocky" line repeated as well. What the fuck? Where did they find these writers? It's worse than Lost.

Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

When the Left 4 Dead crew of four were returning back to the city, im assuming they met little resistance. I guess they were just pretty damn stealthy, or that the hordes of zombies left the city. Was it due to the asian guy's earlier distraction with the car alarm prior to the getaway? Or are they just searching for food? Or both?? My speculation without having read the comics. + Show Spoiler + All that hostile drama going on back in the campsite, lack of strong male protectors(there seems to be a distinct gender role), and combined with possible hordes of zombies approaching, I think there is going to be a lot of people dying to a zombie ambush at the camp.

So the main character's partner presumes that he is dead (fair assumption considering the chance he'd survive) and then goes out of his way to save his friend's wife and son. Then they consensually fornicate and he bonds with his friend's son afterward as a sign of good will. Then when his friend comes back, his wife blames everything on the partner and tells him to get lost. What an ungrateful and manipulative whore (took her only a few days to get over her husband's death and jump into his best friend's pants). I hope she gets bitch slapped later on > ![]() And lastly, there was barely any action. We didn't get to see nearly enough zombies and there was a grand total of two kills (excluding the deer). I still liked the episode somewhat but after the previous two I expected much more. Hopefully the next three will not disappoint. Yeah I was right there with you until + Show Spoiler + we found out that his partner told Lori that her husband was dead. Then I went ohhhhhhhh, now this makes sense. I think her position is pretty damn understandable. I still don't like her, but I don't think she's the devil whore I thought she was either.

I expect this season to continue to be pretty good, but not great. However, with the success of the show I expect season 2 to be amazing. The first 2 episodes had insanely good ratings, especially for AMC.

+ Show Spoiler + I don't think Shane meant malice when he told Lori that Rick was dead. Sure, it may have been a white lie, but I don't think he lied to her just to get in her pants. If you watch Shane's acting when Lori calls him out near the lake, his character does seem really perplexed and hurt as to why he's getting so much heat from Lori. It seems as though he really thought Rick was a goner when he found out that the airlifts from Atlanta weren't going to come. Considering 1. Rick was in a coma, 2. there were zombies all over the hospital/everyone else in the hospital was dead, 3. even if zombies didn't get him he would run out of saline or his bullet would with unchanged bandages would get infected, Rick probably had a pretty slim chance of waking up. In this circumstance, I'm pretty sure it's okay to tell the wife that Rick died so she wouldn't get too hurt when he never comes back. Also, I don't know if this is relevant, but Rick's door seemed to have been blocked pretty securely by some stretchers. Maybe Shane put them there when he was evacuating the hospital in hopes that they would keep the zombies away. So, when Lori finds out, she instantly concludes that Shane lied to her to get into her pants and completely distances herself from logical reasoning. Women...

But a zombie movie based on personal drama? If it doesn't get better by the end of the season, I ain't watching season 2. Actually it's more about tracking the mental changes of the characters living in a zombie infested world. That is if the series stays true to the comic.

can someone please kill the main characters wife >_> shes especially annoying but the zombie action is great. its stupid sure like in some scenes you have "-of the living dead" zombies who go like burrrrrrherrrrrpdiderrrp and are like really slow and shit and stupid and are pretty easy to outrun and in other scenes you have the "28 days later zombies" who can run fast, climb up fences in elegance, landing on their feet like cats and are overall pretty intimidating - a little consistency would do wonders to this show gonna continue watching tho, stupid zombie action is always cool and every great zombiemovie has fucking annoying characters that you just wanna see die - which you usually do anyways, but this being a tv series it might just take too long for them to get killed off ~_~ and ive read the first issues of the comic, its shit lawls zombies dont work in comics

I did not see that coming either. Because it didn't make any sense! Cutting through that old metal would've been easier + saved him his hand. Pretty retarded imo :p Besides that, I like the show so far :-)!
