- Sunshine For those who have seen Event Horizon, may claim it's a bit of a ripoff/clone/etc. Being a fan of said movie myself, it was what I felt for sure that the majority of Sunshine was basically Event Horizon, but in a different approach (lost space ship wormhole versus sun is dying). Regardless, Sunshine executed it well I believe. Less deeper science fiction, no "we went through hell", but more psychological stuff. What does a mission like this do to a man's mind? All in all an okay movie, but wouldn't watch it again. Not great in any way for me. - Thank you for smoking I was pretty curious about this one for sure. And it did not disappoint. Aaron Eckhart pulls the whole lobbyist role off nicely, and the general message the movie carries is a realistic and interesting one. We live in an interesting world. I'd recommend this one for sure. I got hold of a few other titles, and will post experiences at some point again. And please do keep contributing as well!

![]() Kids Used to be "the movie" for the rising hip-hop generation back in the 90's. Not really a hip-hop lover myself, but this movie definitely shows the reckless side of growing up well enough. Note: This picture is quite disturbing. ![]() Crash If you haven't seen this movie about sex-crazed car accident junkies back in the days, now would be a good time to do it. Note: This picture is quite disturbing.

![]() About where your (set in USA) food comes from... most of the things they said I was already aware, but it was still interesting to see all of the pieces put together in a movie. I disagree with some of the things they said/their viewpoint, but that's just my opinion.

Also, you might not know all of David Cronenbergs Films and some of them are just incredible; Scanners and Naked Lunch for example. GO SEE THEM! ^^'

![]() With all this hubbub about Rebecca Black and Friday, I quote Eddie the Delivery Boy, "Whatever happened to Saturday Night?".

![]() Code 46 Astounding futuristic dystopia. Completely different take on this kind of movies from what we're used to. The acting is great, movie is shot very boldly with a lot of unexpected scenes (probably the only movie where you don't get to see the titties but you get a pussy shot instead), twists and turns. Highly recommended.

![]() The man from earth This one is a true hidden gem. I had never heard of it before and stumbled upon it rather by accident but boy was i impressed. This movie is fiction but still do not expect any great special effects or the like, this is one of those movies that neither has nor needs them. This is one of those movies that does not need a fancy makeup of effects but rather just tells a story. A well thought out story given a lot of depth by the characters (which are very well played even though a lot of the actors are not overly well known), and looks with a wink at todays society without beeing pompous or moraly overloaded. A movie that leaves you behind with some thoughts and a grin on your face when you think about it, and is definitely worth the 2 hours you spend watching it, unlike so many others.
