I also suggest Darren Aronofsky for all those who like epic, high quality story, thinking, psychology, drama, tragedy kind of movies. He is genious. Requiem for a dream Pi The Fountain The Wrestler eh i had to stop watching the fountain. i thought it was shit, but the wrestler and pi are great.

The Attic Expeditions http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118652/ "Trevor is a young man who has been sentenced to a long stay in a mental hospital after brutally killing his girlfriend. However, the longer Trevor is in stir, the more he wonders if the murder ever really happened, or if it's all just a horrible fantasy implanted in his brain by Dr. Ek, the sinister director of the asylum. " Very, very strange...makes you feel as if you're tripping at times. Plot is difficult to follow at times and may seem rather contrived at others, but definitely worth a watch if you're in the mood for a 'fking weird' kind of movie. Eight Days a Week http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119054/ "Peter loves his next door neighbour Erica and, on the advice of his grandfather, decides to camp out on her front lawn for the entire summer, or until she agrees to go out with him. His father is none too happy about the idea and refuses to let his son back in the house, even to get a change of clothes. Peter's friend, Matt, thinks Peter should give up on women (like he has) and just have sex with fruit, and have a total devotion to masterbation." Directed by Michael Davis (most known for Shoot Em Up), likely a bit better known than The Attic Expeditions, but something I consider a hidden gem.

Just watched this last night and it was pretty good. There's one thing I just don't get though: + Show Spoiler + When Jess kills herself (the disguised bandit) the first time and starts the cycle over again (the 2nd iteration through), she sees her plain clothes self fighting with the disguised self. But how can that be since that would make 3 Jess'? There are only supposed to be two - her and the one they picked up from the Triangle.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486822/ ![]() Caught this on TV last night whilst flicking. I have a general dislike of Shia LaBeouf, but I really enjoy most of the films he is in, and this is no exception. About some dude who is under house arrest and becomes convinced his neighbor is a serial killer.

![]() If you haven't seen Young Frankenstein you're missing out on some good old fashioned laughs, I still laugh when I watch this movie, it's so funny, and I thought a lot of people have seen it, but apparently not around where I'm from and I was surprised.

That sounds great. Too bad i don't want to watch 98% of the crap on Redbox or my local movie theatre. I like watching indie/foreign/classic films. You know, actual good movies.

I've considered giving it a try but movies like this take a lot out of me, and I don't want to deal with sitting through a feature length films worth of fake snuff unless there is some powerful story or message behind it I'll actually gain something from.

Thanks for the sarcasm, dude I was just trying to help you, all you asked is where we all watch these movies and that's the truth as far as my side of it goes...I barely ever watch free movies online and my drive-in theater is a rare one, it's a people's choice, they ask locals what movies want to be watched, also my redbox has decent movies on it, I guess your's doesn't...

Maybe it was a bid rude, but the point still stands and you may have deserved it, seeing as none of the movies in this thread are going to be on red-box. Or my local theatre.

I really, REALLY dont want to start an argument in this thread, but can people please refrain from posting mainstream commercial movies in this thread ? Thanks. Dude why don't you pull the stick out your ass and read the title of the thread? SURPRISINGLY GOOD. As in, he expected the A-team to be weak and lame, and it turned out it was clever, funny and well-done. So now, other people with similar expectations will give it a try and maybe enjoy it. Stop being some kind of thread nazi, geez.

Paid 20 dollars to see it during the Atlantic film festival. ![]() Hilariously funny sci-fi comedy Do yourself a favour and watch the original BBC production, or better yet listen to the radio production (also bbc) / read the books. The new film isn't terrible by any means but it doesnt have the heart of the originals.
