It's actually the worst "movie" I've seen in my life... worse than the Room.

Kung Pow: Enter the fist One of my favourite comedy movie of all time. Basically the writer of Ace Ventura took an 70's hong kong-flick, edited out the main character and edited in himself, dubbed all the voices with his own and well... The outcome is awesome. The sequel is apparently in production. ![]() Död Snö If you like zombies, you'll love this one. Danish film about a group of med-school students celebrating a week off in the mountains. Of course, that celebration is interrupted by nothing other than NAZI-ZOMBIES! ![]() Banilue 13 As someone that actually trains parkour, this movie is awesome to see. <3 Main actor David Belle is actually the one that often is said to be the "founder" of parkour, and that Luc Besson was a part of this movie should say something about its quality. The sequel is worth checking out if you're into parkour, but this one is waaay better. ![]() Taxi Action, cars, comedy, hot swedish girl. What more do you need? Also, comes in 3 sequels, none of which are too crappy. (The original french movies, not the shitty Queen Latifah one. The ones Luc Besson made.) ![]() I Love You Man Starring "Marshall" from How I met you mother (Jason Segel). Cute comedy, great humour. ![]() O Brother, Where Art Thou AWESOME "musical" comedy with George Clooney among others. Really great movie. ![]() Yamakasi Another parkour-movie. If you're into parkour you've probably seen it. If you haven't, see it, it's awesome! ![]()

Adventureland From the director of Superbad comes autobiografical movie about high school graduate who gets a summer job in amusement park in 1980s. Feels more real and is better made than most movies in it's genre. An Education Coming-of-age tale of a smart girl in 1960s England. Written by Nick Hornby of High Fidelity and About a Boy fame, so there are some funny moments in there too. Carey Mulligan is the next Meryl Streep. Definately, Maybe This is the film that fits the thread title best for me. It looked like a standard chick flick, but it has more heart and is more genuinely funny than I expected. Also the women in it are very very hot and Ryan Reynolds is very likeable.

Not trying to start an argument, just saying. Thanks. ![]() If you haven't seen Killer Klowns from Outerspace it's a great movie, it's silly "campy" horror and craziness. Giant(ish) clowns being aliens and not explaining anything, but a great movie.

I don't mean simply hidden from main stream. Remember that the average person only watches maybe 3-4 films a year. So even films like "A-Team" are hidden, or unknown to the average viewer. It all depends on perspective. For a person who considers themselves as a heavy movie watcher, a film like "Cube" would not be hidden because it's quite a huge cult film, where as the average person would no doubt consider it hidden. Take into account the international audience looking here. If you lived in China, "Red Cliff" is as big as the "Dark Knight" is in America, but in Norway, you wouldn't have heard of "Red Cliff". It's all about perspective. Also take into account the intention of the thread, and that's to see new and awesome movies you may not of heard about in your every day life. As long as someone found out about a film here and went to watch it and said it was awesome, then it's level of mainstreamness doesn't matter too much.

It has this bitter aftertaste, I can't get rid of it. Oh my, wish I was 8-10 years younger.

I also suggest Darren Aronofsky for all those who like epic, high quality story, thinking, psychology, drama, tragedy kind of movies. He is genious. It's a bit long but has a twisted plot. It's a unique and not well known film imo. Sorry if it's already been posted, not willing to sort through 50 pages
