I've been listening to this album pretty regularly. Female-fronted sludge/post with electric violins. One of the more muscular female-fronted bands out there. Kind of reminds me of these guys: Terrible quality, swallows up the superb drumming, but I think it gets its point across. | ||

 With Maiden I enjoy the second half of their albums more and I feel like they're somewhat underrated. A Matter of Life and Death being their best album. Megadeths best album is definitely Rust in Peace and Metallicas best is Master of Puppets. + Show Spoiler + oh, and Megadeth > Metallica but no hate | ||

I might be just too much of a Priest fan to say that anything beats them, but they seemed to have gone too hard on this cover. Like, Priest was definatly metal, but they maintained a level where they were still listenable to hardrock fans, pop metal (Motely Crue, for example), and the likes. I can't see someone who isn't into VERY hard metal liking this as much. | ||

Love Bullet for My Valentine, As I Lay Dying, Amon Amarth, Heaven Shall Burn, Meshuggah, Lamb of God, Isis, too fucking many to list. If anyone likes progressive death metal in the vein of Meshuggah and Isis, you ABSOLUTELY MUST check out Cynic. Their album "Traced in Air" is pure genius from beginning to end. Probably the best new album to be released in the last 4 years. | ||
