And I'm going to see them live again in two days in the 013! Looking forward to it a lot
You lucky bastard
The keyboard in Jumalten Kaupunki is so melodic and heroic.
Pakanajuhla live is so energetic!
Edit: Oh and well, the best song ever clocking it at 29 minutes and 45 seconds, Tulimyrsky in 3 parts on youtube, in case you want to check it out. An almighty song mixing black metal to pure folk metal. Moonsorrow are too talented.
There is NOT NEARLY ENOUGH Iron Maiden or Dream Theater in this thread (DT is prog, but a couple of their albums and songs are straight heavy metal). I'm a little sickened by some of these Maiden-wannabes appearing so often, so:
You should check out earlier albums as well. Images and Words is pretty awesome, as is Awake and Scenes from a Memory. When Day and Dream Unite is also neat, although the singing will get to you eventually.
I'm basing this upon the fact that the songs you posted are from 3 of their newest albums (if you disregard BC&SL).
Awesome Death/Thrash/Black Metal from Oberhausen Germany.
Man, where are you from exactly? I am friends with Path.. so maybe we saw each other on some concerts?!
Here are two videos from my bands last gig, also played in Oberhausen/Germany. Feel free to check them out.
You can also find some threads about my band on TL... :p
I am currently uploading the rest of that gig but it takes quite some time to upload HD files to youtube... If people like them, I will post the rest as soon as it is up.
