Expected outcome for game 1 and do not see a reason why game 2 should not be a win for Secret, but I think J.Storm will be quite happy with a Top8-finish. This is more than their other competitors for a direct TI-invite got except for Keen Gaming.

alot better game by JStorm but not a fan of the void pick as that hero can't really do enough damage till like 4-5 item
ugh JStorm completely not focused like they're chasing different players of secret per fight .. looks more like pubs than a pro team

That was more Jstorm lacking focusfire and just splitting and chasing different heroes than secret doing well. I mean void/brew chasing tide who already ravaged and just left the squishier heroes and their leshrac to die.(mid t2 fight)
And the fight near T1 again when them splitting off hitting different targets and brwe chasing oracle ...
Pretty sure that was more on them rather than Secret doing well. They're actually disorganized on fights

Lesh just had to stay alive and that's an almost even trade since they used OD+Tide Ult. If he stays alive, they don't have to fight at Rosh

EG's heroes suffer the problem that almost all of them are just uhm brawlers in fights. Like there isn't much room for outplay with their heroes
VP suffers the damage problem with a single core LD

but i think the biggest differential, going position to position, is the pango vs the nyx
pango's been doing so much, both dmg and lockdown
nyx has not

you think a few more armor items would fix a lot of issues but itemization of VP has been really lackluster

Their lineup overall really don't have enough damage with a lonedruid as their main damage dealer(not exactly one of the upperechilon of damage dealing carries)

They went late for bkbs and because of their low damage output, especialy the bounty hunter escaped a lot.
They can do so much better, i dont know.

VP has noticeably struggled to control the midgame tempo at this tournament. Either they commit too hard or avoid fights at all costs to the detriment of their drafts.

Great series and with Matu and ODPixel you got a duo which were giving a performance as a caster on an equivalent level like both playing teams. This is what I want to see from casters and not goofing around the whole game and ruining the atmosphere.
At least EG got what they came for...they secured their TI invite. If everybody would have been on the level of Arteezy and Cr1t today, they would have beaten VP.
