miracle got caught way too much early game with the shadowblade, impeccable warding by newbee, and just jumped him super hard.
OG never got the double bkb timing to fight against spectre, and that costed them the game. In theory they wanted control of NB jungle and suffocate spectre, but this god damn HAO just refuse to buy vanguard and somehow pulled a radiance out of his ass per usual around 25 minutes.
props to chuan and tusk though, those chain stun on slark was so on point, I wonder if slark had gone blink/bkb the fight would've been better... i bet he regret the shadowblade so much now, he fed 3+ with it walking into vision

Feels like the fight at 21 mins where Hao escapes with a few HP was the beginning of the end. Newbees supporting cast did amazing this game. Somehow people focus on Hao due to a Rampage.

NB had such superior late game supports
the lion and tusk can super stun-lock slark and kill him, whereas earth spirit and rubic just kind of walk around and die to spec ultimate. OG was on a timer basically.
I wonder how OG has to adapt for next game, NB lost the first match due to some errors and not having a stronger lategame (the bear falls off) so they adjusted for super lategame spectre. It'll be interesting to see how OG reacts to it

Xboct was better from a spectator point of view though, it was either hilarious fails or amazing plays from the rest of the na'vi squad from the resulting chaos. Or sometimes just xboct playing godlike and making actually good calls even if ballsy.

good stuff, but do slarks go blink anymore with silver edge giving +15 stats? They kinda killed the blink or sb choice with silver edge being so generically slark-appropriate, rather than a situational item

i suppose game 2 OG got spectre frogdota

Newbee is defensive?
ehhhh wtf is swindle talking about

OG ran into them and died.

Why is Swindle the only pro that's hopped on the desk? There's so many other pros that have been eliminated earlier than him, like Synderen for instance.

I mean... the temptation for sb is too strong. OG laned it so well too, with miracle mid to counter batrider's napalm. I honestly thought game was going super well for OG when they killed 4 newbee with the fresh shadowblade pickup. but NB just played 5 man dota hardcore and miracle fed some killls. It's like the post we had in general on "legue of ancients 2" where 5 man is way too strong atm

Like in the video where Hvost has weaver and Sonneiko WW, everyone praising Sonneiko and blaming Hvost are just watching it wrong. Sonneiko has all the universe to do his things while Hvost is outplaying the whole enemy team.
