Wait what Fnatic are up 1-0?
To all the haters: you deserve to witness many, many more Serral victories, worthy of the godlike player he is.

the MVP voting in client makes me more annoyed than it should, every single game is just people picking the carry.

You've given good reasons why they cant rat, but can they win this game off of team fighitng forever?

I think at this point Alliance is relying on TS fucking up. There's no straight up way they win like pushing rat or teamfight.

And right on cue.

yep they got the pickoffs and baited TS to commit into a terrible 3v5 into buyback into GG

It's how Alliance has always won when they're on the back foot. They probably have more experience and discipline than every other team in the world put together.

that's some hardcore hyperbole

not really, the experience bit probably falls the way of eg thanks to universe and fear, but they are by far the most disciplined, patient, and organized team out there

eg has the patience down, but tend to lack the discipline and organization; ti3 na'vi was actually on alliance's level, but XBOCT took too many years to figure out his new role and the team fell apart

that was a pretty excellent finisher from alliance, good timing for that singleton pickoff and good aggressive followup

rofl. Wait what? I'm pretty certain that was just T-Spirit handing out that W for free with their tier 2 level of play. Alliance looked pretty damn shaky from what I've seen thus far. I think VG or fnatic have a better shot.

I remember KuroKy saying that nowadays is sad to see people thinking that teams don't win anymore, it's just the other team throwing

TSpirit screwed up, but that was also a pretty standard way for a pickoff to happen. s4 showed himself bottom chasing TSpirit guys, right away used boots of travel on a wave top and set up the Zeus pickoff. Putting yourself in those positions to take advantage of the Zeus taking one wave too much is what good players do. Idk what happened with Goblak after that but he was caught out like 5 times that game anyway.

If dota were to die due to production value the scene would already be dead for a few years.

I mean...there's certainly a point to be made about the over-application of the term "throw." But the game we're talking about here seems like a pretty clear-cut case of "you died without buyback when you shouldn't have and it lost you the game."

Most people are using the term "Throw" in the wrong way.

I don't like comparing teams on intangibles, but you wrote "put together" which is why I said hyperbole. You're saying combining 1000 pro dota players together into some science experiment super-team doesn't have more experience and discipline than Alliance.

Spirit absolutely shit the bed game 2.

They had a very solid position in that game, and then they decided to just get picked off one by one for no reason with no bb
