Because it's stupid for technical problems to potentially give an advantage to one team over another and promotes tactical pausing.
I hate it in every single game where it could possibly have an impact.

I wasn't trying to be snarky, people often say dota2 won't be taken "seriously" or "legitimately" and don't really define what standards they are setting for those to be the case. I think people talking during pauses is fair and reasonable
