EHOME, CDEC, LGD all got 1$ mil secured already.

Aside from xiao8 who is ever going to retire after that lol.
I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams (c) uriel

3 games secret lost in the group stage were with s4 mid getting shitstomped by opponents mid laner who went on to have over 15 kills in all 3 games. Bad call putting him mid in an important match, best he can do is play qop safe lane and hit a couple of ulties.

Also true, S4 got massively outclassed by Cty, not only that, his sf play in general looked really bad.

s4 is probably 4th best mid in this tournament behind maybe, cty, and sumail

They've let Puppey and zai draft, now S4 messed it up. Will they have Kuro or RTZ draft next tournament?

If they don't win this TI, they are disbanding.

I'm pretty sure if they win this TI they are also disbanding

Not gonna see disbands like last years because of majors.

Well, Secret allowed them to get three teams in the first six. Hope our American boys don't do the same. Fuck Secret though, why did play so bad today?

They are not very good compared to Ehome as the games obviously showed

Come on you are a big boy you can analyze this much at least

Let's forget 3 months of dota following a bo3.

Secret may still not have fully improved their ability to overcome losses. It's a team chemistry thing. They have respect for each other but when adversity strikes the cracks in their team chemistry affects their performance. They are like a bunch of skilled friends that are chill with each other but not the best of friends. This is similar to DK with key differences such as Secret are probably closer as friends but DK lived together for a year so the bond is different.

The other route is to go the EG route which is straight professional and have a strong structural hierachy. I think EG is the strongest team when it comes to bouncing back from defeat.

Honestly, the game 2 really just scream out draft. The Axe pick didn't really do much for them, especially how hard he was shut down in his lane.
Getting too old for this..

I'm going to do it but thought I'd stick around for a few minutes to not look as though I disappear when Western teams lose.

you need to learn how to take an L

He needs to ask Tige... pardon me, Tyga.

yeah definitely take the tyga route of persevering through a long string of losses
the alternative is the meek route where you keep trying to fight when everyone knows you're already out of the fight

I just realized that i know 2 different guys who chose names with reference to "tiger" who both took huge ass L's in their lifes. From 2 different subject matters. What the hell. Either way, March Warlock hype, MVP.Please

Ehome and CDEC have both shown that there is good talent out there in China. It certainly says a lot that Newbee and IG are doing as poorly as they are while these two teams that are both full of relative unknowns are into the WB semis.

Nah. RTZ and Zai will take off and they will pick up some of the many free agents.

EE + RTZ back together after TI5???

China vs Azarkon is the story of this TI

LOLZ

That Azarkon guy just makes shit up. There's nothing wrong with having a personal bias but I hope for his sake that he is just trolling for fun.

"How do you know IG didn't practice?"
"I read twitch chat..."

You haven't been here for the past TIs when Azarkon does the same thing.

Secret lost that game for good reason. They don't change their style of draft under whoever is drafting. It's always SF some where if it's available.

Does s4 even count as a mid laner anymore? He only plays mid in like 30% of Secret's games.

Newbee actually has just as much new talent as LGD though, they just had a bad practice environment for ages, lol.

Can Prime lose out in thre different esports at once?

Probably not since they just got one of the best SC2 coaches ever, but one can dream.
