Sure, it's nice to have good talent, but that won't win you the world.
To be fair, you did mention that there are replaceable parts, but hey, you never know what kind of chemistry you'll get with those different parts.
It's less about the individual skill than the sheer amount of brain power that Secret packs. Two of the greatest thinkers in Dota are on Secret. Which other team is able to say that it's led by not one, but two TI winning captains?

EHOME's draft is atrocious.
@Azarkon, do I need to remind you that first TI was all, but formality?

China has two. Zhou and Xiao8. Were they to form a team, which is a long shot b/c Zhou is retired, and then invite Lanm to coach, then it'd have the same amount of brain power that Secret has.

It kinda seems like they were dicking around, picking Sniper as their only core, Enigma with no real wombo-combo and lack of strategic focus. Poor Sniper got chased all around the map and initiated upon from 1000+ range for half the match VG comp couldn't push or rosh for their life. I mean when they got a full team wipe, they could only convert it into a tier 1... I wonder how a Bristleback would have fared. On the other hand, it seems Chen is an instaban when you're playing against secret. I find it kinda ironic as the hero disappeard from the meta prior to this tournament. I wonder who will figure out secret and have the skill to take them head on in a Bo3. It's cool for the tournament story to have a team acting as the big bad wolf.
Wierd but i guess HR got best papers for that. They tend to run wierd lineups against toptierteams that actually work if snowballed.
