Now people even call it throw when it's some sick plays from the team which was behind. It's an overused word and I will quote kuroky in my sig now.

xcal - position 1 w33 - 2 simba- 3 h4nni - 4 pld - 5 /drafter (they really, really should change up a few of those roles but they didn't change them at all in dota pit. mainly xcalibur on the 1 position hasn't worked out very well).

I don't really understand the point of having sven and void in the same lineup I don't know if it's that bad if you can severe the Io & Dazzle from Tiny, NS, or Storm and have sven take him on quickly. That or I guess given the line-up using it to either setting up fights or cleaning them up.

I don't really understand the point of having sven and void in the same lineup I think the idea is that you can blink with the Sven onto the Wisp with Zeus and Tide follow up and burst down the Wisp while Void controls the front line of the team fight with chrono and prevents some of the Tiny / Nightstalker / Storm Spirit from coming in to prevent you from killing it.

I think we even saw it work like that a few times except that Meepwnd lacked the damage because of how behind they were. A nice extra advantage is you can chrono on the relocate and you're likely to get Sven + wisp in a position where storm bolt will hit both of them. I think if Excal could kill Wisp and/or Dazzle in a chrono (assuming free attacking on the targets) like he should be able to things might work, but it wasn't like that at all, he barely dmged any of them. EDIT: Seems like a reasonably safe lane for Simbaa... so he's going to give up first blood somehow I'm guessing.

Every little bit of speed is going to make a difference, the faster Axe can get out of the jungle the better.

TB's actually pretty good at punishing lineups that are designed to 5 siege push because his split is so fast with just an early aquila / yasha, but not when they are kill lineups like VP had. I don't think Tinker predicted that VP would just go kill things and take towers that way, and a singular Tuskar pick for protection isn't going to change anything.

I actually think Puck was the most underwhelming in their line-up. he just didn't have the levels or tools to really get going in any capacity. If they had let him get some solo experience they probably could have had a better mid-game teamfight presence. Plus top gives some pretty decent kill potential with Tusk + Venge, especially with sun strike.

I wrote "from a content perspective" as in, what it actually contributed to this thread and the actual tournament. That was a 0 from me and a 0 from you. Considering I didn't violate the Ten Commandments, I'm fine with myself. And as long as the moderation doesn't get out of hand, I can also somewhat live with it and shrug it off. Still bummed that someone with a reportable offense got away with it though. I guess bias will always be there. /edit: Well, the moderator explained his reasoning. So probably not bias, just a somewhat different look on the subject. Actually OT: I still hope Empire wins even though it's looking grim. Not really a fan of NIP as a team.

ur whole team are ranged squishbags and while i'm aware that jak is a very tanky ranged hero, he's not exactly a front-line brawler if you will to keep mobile heroes like axe or clinkz off of ur drow. Windrunner isn't either but at least she benefits a ton from drow aura (she's absurd in lane with drow aura, absolutely nuts).

I think its a smart idea to pick kotl, that blinding light is better then the omniknight ultimate against drowlineups, as the uptime of the misschance is ridiculous (50% of the ingame time the enemy misses 80% of their rightclicks).

It was like an RTZ ember game or something. And then somehow at the end he became superman and won the game.

Why can't a team just smoke and get a good pick off, instead of it being the carries fault for not been able to run away from a team full of blinks and abyssal blades? U mean why is it LC's fault for blinking into 4 people, dueling the most unkillable hero on the map after not buying the item that would give him a chance, then dying, buying back, and then getting caught around a minute later farming the most exposed lane possible with no enemies on the map without buyback? Cuz that one's definitely a throw Or maybe why is it a throw when VP lose 5v4 where NiP's most farmed hero is dead without buyback? etc etc I enjoyed it too though. Throws are hilarious to watch. Much more interesting than grind-em-out dota

If you're one of the elitist "can only watch the highest quality dota" it's not for you, but it was certainly entertaining as any game I've watched. Edit: ^ the post above is very true. But everyone has bots or was already there and they turned it around. The second though, why can't that be just a fucking amazing echo slam from es that takes a huge chunk of the three cores lives?

There's also all the sites and various phone apps devoted to letting you know how the game is going without having to actually watch it. I can't recall what site, but there's a fairly decent one. And usually if you can access LD you can access those
