It's pretty obvious when reading LR's that there's a lot of people who just listen to the commentators and have no real clue what's going on.

It was quite obvious that EG was losing after the kill lead. They can't also do anything to DK deathball or they didn't try too much.

14.5 to 1 against fnatic on d2l. And I just bet on DK.

No. No. No. Guys, I'm getting nervous. Someone hold me. Someone FUCKING hold me.

I think the logical choice for DK to pick is fnatic. Na'vi is a very risky pick for obvious reasons and vici has taken series from them before. Fnatic is relying quite a lot on excalibur to not get focused on in the early game and DK should know that.

I could see how a casual viewer might not see through the sarcasm for a couple reasons.
They might not be familiar with Puppey's and N0tail's personalities and wouldn't assume that they were troll casting.
Combine this with not being able to read how a game is going on their own, they rely on the casters to tell them how the game is going. They might suspect that the game was even or in DK's control but the commentary would just confuse them.

But this is what we were expecting from this LAN format. If they could also have pro players cast seriously, it would really complement the BTS product as a whole.

No tiebreaker is a bit odd... DK should get their pick from 3rd or 4th... now it sounds like they will pick from 2,3,4, which is not exactly the same.
Assume (for example) THAT Vici had won a tiebreaker, DK couldn't have played against them... currently they have that option.

DK are unlikely to choose VG anyway and if I was Navi or fnatic I wouldn't want to play an exhausting tiebreaker just for the chance to not get chosen by DK, it's just not a large enough reward for the effort outputted.

If it was just N0tail + Hanni they would have had a serious cast but puppey actually doesn't do serious virtually ever.

So why has EG been under-performing so much relative to what people expected of them? Their draft and play-style seems really predictable now to me.

Their style always was predictable. They just are no more the new team on the block and aren't riding that high of a new team. Others have simply learned to play against them.

Again, based on 3 fucking loses, 2 of them going yolo with Wisp relocate...

They were on a 22 winning streak until their loss against PR last month, raping Fnatic 3 times, Alliance twice, etc.
They can just lose games, like everybody and it's their first LAN playing together... Cut them some slack.

Well to be fair, I think if you understand english well enough you can tell by the tone that they're being sarcastic.

That and comeback potential in super-late game via delay with massive counter-initiation/teamfights in midgame to lategame.

Meepo, Tiny, Tinker. They all fit. DK need to close out games early.

I would guess 50%+ of the viewers have English as second language as well, just to compound on the problem.
