No. Just a regular Bo5.
Looks like another Chinese team is about to be eliminated next match. LGD or iG? Hm.
Wow that's beyond stupid :s. The winner to the bracket should have a 1-0 advantage :s
Obvious bias much?
No one likes extended series in MLG, but when a foreign team stands to gain, hey, why not?
WTF? Nothing to do with extended series LOL. Winner bracket teams always have an advantage in the grand finals, be it needing to win just one bo3 or having another kind of advantage like a map lead... it's the advantage of NOT having lost any games.

what? no
Ti2 came dangerously close to a boring all-chinese farmfest affair.

It's not hard, especially when void is chronosphering so tide can't anchor smash.......

Watch Natus Vinceres youtube channel and you will be learnid. The whole team works together sooo fucking well which is why they win. There is no weak link they are all legendary.

Because not everyone hates Extended Series, and in this situation he's not asking for extended series, he's asking for a winner's bracket advantage which is less than what real double elimination entails. In an actual double elimination final it's two Bo3's with the winner's bracket finalist having to win 1, the loser's bracket finalist having to win 2.

That doesnt have to do with extended series. In a normal double elimination the team/player from the losers bracket has to win 2 series in the grand final. Because the team/player from the winner is allowed 1 loss like everyone else.

How don't the Chinese players have personality.. I have never got this criticism, even for sc2 korean players. -.-
Human nature loves an underdog taking down the titan.

There's a difference between extended series and giving the winner's bracket an advantage, you know. If winner's bracket has no advantage, it sort of defeats the purpose of having a winner's bracket and loser's bracket.

You forget that all the games were incredibly close and the chinese teams have really arrived in dota 2 taking 7 out of the top 8 spots. Also it showcased the capabilities of EG, coL showing that they are more than capable of taking games of top chinese teams.

Same deal with SC2. Foreigners confuse being able to speaking english = personality, when it's the furthest thing from the truth. Most foreigners are boring, but since they speak english people think oh man so much personality.

This is exactly what extended series is, and why MLG revamped their format so the grand finals are just a BO7.
