I think he's pretty angry about the fact that this is the situation.

This is a joke is doa one of the commentators? So unprofessional of them, and insulting to the viewers and fans of dota. They're just trying to troll the dota community -.-

I assume the referees would notify casters if they could hear commentating from stage. Look likes you were right. Casters just mentioned Stage D audience can't hear the cast either.

yeah you see, if you do that he would know he wouldnt be able to do a good job, these two people dont know that, and they should.

They're trying to be funny, making the best of what they have. They have to cast the match, so what do you want? A bunch of half-ass, boring, wrong bs'ing?
It's a bad situation but you can't blame it on the casters of all people. They did not deliberately choose to cast a game they had no knowledge of to "troll the dota community".

Doa has been in the casting community (well for SC2) for a while. He already said he doesn't know what's going on (or else he'll talk more about the actual game).
They only got like 1 Dota casters (Tobi AFAIK) in WCG. They're doing the best they can with what they have.
Finally I don't know why people are thinking he's making fun of the game or down playing it.
Artosis and Tasteless make jokes about SC2 all the time (like whether the Medivac is cute or not, what would a Zerg say if they saw a flying bunker, etc).
Edit - Also they mentioned that they're not casting in the best environment (it's a really small screen and they can barely see what's going on).

Well, I think another option would be if you don't know the game, you get on stream, say you dont know the game, announce who is playing and shut the hell up and link to the koreans for the atmosphere.

Doa is an SC2 caster and Ramon is a CS caster.
WCG is spreading out the casters.
Plus Doa had to cast WC3, FIFA, and a bunch of other random WCG games too.
It's not their fault that WCG didn't get more Dota casters.

That's where you are getting it wrong - Doa is SC2 caster, the other guy was for one of the other games (the FPS I believe). They went there to cast those games in which they are professionals. But the organizers told all English casters of all types of games that they will actually have to rotate a lot and cast other games too. It happened right there and was not planned. Blame the organizers for making clowns out of these people, but they aren't really clowns themselves and are doing their best.

Oh god. Its best to just leave stream on the background, its amusing on its own. ^_^

Some time before this week, WCG scheduled the events. Some time before this week, a bunch of english casters got on a plane and went to china. Some time before this week someone should have realized, wait a minute theres only one dota caster coming to cast an event that has 2 dota games. At some point before breakfast on the first morning someone at wcg should have realized they didnt have enough dota casters. At some point before the first games these two casted, someone should have handed them a list of what the names of the heroes are in dota. But none of that happened.

I can't believe what you're saying. First you suggest they stay silent for the greater good (lol) on an english stream they are told and paid to cast. Now it seems like you're saying it's somehow the casters' job to last minute spot check who WCG hires, how they organize their event, and their scheduling.

Lets say someone hires a plumber to fix a TV, do you think that plumber should go ahead and take apart the TV and be all like, well I got hired for this job, might as well go ahead and do it. Or maybe, it would be in the plumber's best intrest to ask his electrician buddy to give him some tips. I'm saying that if you realize you have to do a job that you dont know how to do, either dont do it or ask for some help. These two didn't ask for help cos they dont know anything about the game.
