I think he suffers from the same problem Purge had in his early days (and to some extend even nowadays) being that he is way too monotone. He unfortunately doesn't make it up with great insight either. I'm pretty sure he'll be decent in no time though if he puts some work into his casting
He suffers from being with tobi. He should get a good cocaster and not cast with tobi

The second stoutshield still increases your absorption. One stout=12 absorption on average and the second one brings you up to 16.8 absorption on average. Whether this is worthwhile or not is a completely different matter ^_^

n0tail had some really smexy ward traps in this game. Watching his plays makes me want to mess around with SS.

gege. fnatic not wanting to drag things out
nice to see na'vi win an online cup like this.
a few good games, nothing too spectacular though. Still, another way for teams to make a bit of money and hopefully the big season finals will be good.

And having 2 means increased chance of proc because it checks one if it doesnt proc it checks the next but to a lesser percent.

N0tail hit every single ward-trap perfectly in this game, fancy plays like this would just not exist in other moba games, thankfully the pathing and mechanics of dota allow things like this to occur, it's beautiful.

Hence the use of the word average. It is binary, but over a large number of attacks you can expect an average of 12 absorption from a single stoutshield even though it either blocks 20 or 0.
Both stoutshields have a 60% chance to absorb. The chance of both of them not procing is 0.4*0.4=0.16. 0.16*20=3.2. Hence the average blocked amount is 16.8 with two stout shields.

...I underlined the important part.Ofc he is blocking only 20 damage, but more often ( 1 - (1 - blockchance stout 1) x (1 - blockchance stout 2) (1-(1-0,6)²)= 0.84% block chance for 20 damage. This means a absorbtion of (0,84*20) 16.8 on AVERAGE. ( this example does not include PRD, hence its not 100% exact.)

Its just your wording then, its implys that you increase your absorbtion level not the chance to proc the way you wrote it.
After checking it, the chance is closer to 53% than 60 since its pseudo random. I would like to know how pseudo random works with two shields though but thats another subject.
