CM is a good hero, but there was zero reason for Fnatic to want to aggressive tri this. A Weaver CM Tree trilane has no pressure. It has no killing power because Tree does no damage. It has weak harassing ability because Weaver and Tree have low range. It basically was incapable of putting any pressure on Tongfu's lane, which was evident from the fact that Hao didn't fall behind at all despite Chen basically afk-farming and ignoring the lane until the first smoke gank.

You want your tree to get to pull because he starts getting levels quickly while still helping the other two lanes with armor. If he stays level 1/2 a long time in an aggressive tri, armor isn't as influential as it should be.
