Puppey dropped a midnight pulse in the rosh pit tho, that's why net didn't go for the steal as he could not blink out anymore and without buyback he would have handicapped his team too much. (responding to Merlini =p)

Yeah, its called being cool under pressure. Its the sign of a great team.

The salty Orange fans are funny. Orange is a great team and played really well, but couldn't hold it together in the end.

That had nothing to do with it. If they didn't deny the aegis Na'Vi lost, simple as that.

People who are far better at Dota 2 disagree with you. Even with the aegis, they might not have been able to break the base. They have one damage source that was losing steam.

I want Navi to not win. They have enough $$$ from placing top 2 for two TI's straight, on top of the merchandise and Dendi raking in the $$$ from streaming. Time for some other team to get some well deserved MONEYZ!

Because Alliance, which is in no way affiliated with EG doesn't have enough money. How about the best team wins?

They played horrible. Rushing into fights with no vision and just getting dominated since they didn't know where the hell bane or OD was. It is not taken out of context, he said, to paraphrase that they had to shut down OD and bane, so to win they had to fight the teamfights better then Orange so they got to bane and then OD ignoring the rest. Which is exactly what they did not do for the first 20 minutes, hell 30 minutes.

It had EVERYTHING to do with it, how is not denying your own aegis not a sign of loosing your cool? The guy is nervous as fuck and reacted badly

Not true. The gold lead wasn't large at all. Experience was ~10k even though Orange had an over 10 kill advantage. The deny was definitely unfortunate, but Na'Vi showed greater composure and deserve it.

Na'vi couldn't leave their base/t2 tower mid...an aegis meant 6 more minutes of orange map dominance and further gold and xp advantage

Not having an aegis against navi in those last teamfights guarnateed mushi didn't have any ability to use his ultimate in every teamfight, as he died before bkb wore out on any heroes / blackhole already used.

Everyone of those fights started with mushi dying very quickly, and all of his teammates kiting / living much longer. If mush had aegis, he would revive by the time BKBs wore off, ultied for 2/3ds of his targets hp, and perhaps turning fights around.

it was a BIG deal, possibly cost the game.
I disagree, I don't think Orange were ever breaking that base without winning multiple team-fights in a row.

That line-up relied way too much on OD, and OD isn't a hero you can rely on late-game alone.

The next teamfight they won would have ended in a rax, unless they lost 2 or more. Orange would have had buybacks, and no black hole on Na'Vi

So I disagree.

And i think Puppey was lacking a major item as well. Bkb or the blink? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Congratz Na'Vi, deserved that win, still a great tournament performance by orange, so glad they did well! I am shocked how much gold track actually gives when playing 5man dota

I share the sentiment theoretically, but I'm pretty sure that [A] is not that much poorer than Na'Vi. Sure, they don't have the same kind of tournament money, but sponsorship will be huge as well.

The WR draft cost them the game. Should have picked Slardar or another phys dps anti carry.

...? And then the whole game fucking changes because they have to defensive trilane and/or babysit the slardar all game instead of roaming with their 2 supports which was a big reason why they got that early game advantage.

To be honest I don't think Na'vi deserves second place. Over the course of TI DK, Tong Fu and Orange have shown so much more and Na'vi is great but they never seem to show a convincing win. As it stands they have no change against Alliance unless they pull out some weird strat.

They said on stream that it would be 1 hour break, so maybe 55 minutes from how. If anyone knows anything more, please keep us updated.

My point is that they only got their shit together halfway through the game.
They really sucked early game, no doubt.
