It took us a while, but our dedicated qualifier for teams from North and South America is back! The best sides from the USA, Brazil, Chile and other countries will battle it out in a 8-team group stage followed by a playoff bracket – and the winner will be sent to Europe to take part at the DOTA2 Finals of our Fall 2013 season.
Four top teams will be invited; four more teams can qualify through an open cup that takes place this weekend, September 21th–22th. You can sign up by following this link to nationalesl.com.

if it follow the same format as last year they won't be able to qualify, i think they need 3 american players on their line up. In fact there was a problem last EMS because of that when CWM (i think) was playing in Lust's account (american KP stand-in)

Good point. I don't remember when exactly they first started the push, was it after they caught Jeyo/Fogged in the bot lane farming? If that is the case then they probably went for the push because they were already in the lane and then continued with it because the tower was already somewhat low. Just a guess of course. Also I believe when they first started the push bot there was still a tier 2 top

I dont see Take5 taking the Finals from EG. If you heard me And 1437 interview Demon after they beat EG the first time he said this isn't a permanent team and they might not even go to Poland if they win. Then Yesterday Arteezy on my stream talked about how they cant even decide lanes without arguing.

EG didn't look very strong in their weplay group, although I'm not sure Bo2 actually counts for BoX.

I think EG is facing a lot of pressure. They clearly think they're supposed to win, and they're right. But Take 5 has nothing to lose, but EG has a lot on the line in terms of pride. Seems like EG is playing really pressured right now. First game they kept forcing things. This game, they're constantly indecisive. And they haven't utilized the advantages of Wisp at all.

And since their goal is certainly to be better than Alliance by TI4 (why make a team under the EG banner if you're not shooting for the top?) then they should relish the challenge.

For one EGM doesn't make Take Five a million times better. EGM plays his role, he is not a strategy guy, or a leader. A team doesn't win because it has EGM, a team can execute a strategy because they have EGM.
And it's Dota, it's a game of ideas and team chemistry. It's something that can come along from a rag tag group of inhouse players and it's something that can be missing from a team which is strategically put together. Losing like this to a team like this has happened to all top tier teams.

It's hard to say that take5 really won it when the player carrying them is a standin.
But then again, you can also attribute the win that take5, not even been playing together for a long time, still winning AND with a standin.

I think it's pretty fucking dumb that in the grand finals, a team has 2 standins. One of which is a sponsored player from another team in the tournament they're qualifying for (EGM). Like...there might not be rules against it, but maybe they should consider putting one in because that's fucking ridiculous.

Are you dumb? They already won against EG 2-1 a few days ago with Larry Appletime. EGM is just 1 player, he doesn't change a team.

when take5 beat EG earlier it was with their full roster. and their wins were really solid while EG's 1 win was not so
