A bit more carry potential but people tend to ulti early and waste that part in team fights anyhow. To expand a bit on this. His passive makes him great for trading hits at one level of it. Clap is a great spell with setup, not a kill spell but at least on level of Treant. Your ulti makes you naturally tanky, similarly to WK. I know we often ran him as support when we picked him.
