I get that "2d6" type rolls have an effect but lane creeps at least don't have multiple-die rolls.
You are correct that there is no difference for single die rolls. There are some bounties with even more than two dice, like roshan rolls five, which makes it very significant.

Whenever this bug is mentioned you should define it as they do in the bugs list

He probably doesn't roll multiple dice in dota 1 but CK could really use an "averagizer" on his dmg lol

He actually does use the multiple dice in DotA 1 (3d11). It's actually really annoying that he doesn't anymore in DotA 2.

That's actually quite big...
I mean, CK doesn't need those 80 dmg hits at lvl 1, he just needs to not have those sub-50 hits. Or whatever the range is.

Here's one I've wondered for a while. Standard pub 1-protect-4, I'm the 1. How selfish am I allowed to be, assuming I'm the only player on the whole team who will ever buy obs/sentry/dust?
If I buy wards and cour at start and then up cour asap, are there situations in which it's ok to delay team items to finish boots/wand/arcanes?
Also, is an ultra-late mek worth getting? If I'm looking at like a 40-minute mek, I'll sometimes just opt for force/blink if I'm a hero like rubick/lion/nyx. Is that a valid choice?

He didn't say 4 protects 1, he said 1 protects 4.

a mek always helps even if it's a 40 minute mek Although the healing component might be a bit negated against an AoE hitting enemy carry the armor buff is always useful for you and the teammates
However if I'm like 40 minutes into the game and I can't even dream of a mek due to getting insta killed or something I would buy an item accordingly to the situation (like ghost sceptor etc).
Depends on characters too i guess. If mobility is more important for survival I would opt for a more mobility oriented item.

Is there a division system in Dota2? I haven't really read anything about it, and it's not obvious to me when i play games. Apart from seeing my level i don't know how well or poorly i am doing. Also how does the MMR work? i seemed to get match against people who are as new as i am, and others who have played 100+ games with decent W/L

The only way to know how you're placed (except for measuring the level of the games) is to filter your recent games on very high/high and see if any games show up, but that's just the top percentile, normal skill range is huge.
It's unknown how the MMR system works. I would assume it's just that you get individual points like in SC2 depending on the relative stength of the opposing team, but some people claim K/D ratio and amount of wins are included in the calculation.

I initially typed a sentence saying that neither K/D ratio and amount of wins have anything to do with the calculation, but then thought better of a few possible exceptions.
Basically, a brand new account's MMR will fluctuate much more from game to game while it tries to stabilise. An account with hundreds of wins will take far more wins to gain as many points as a brand new account. Likewise, it wouldn't surprise me if Valve implemented something that took huge K/D ratios into account when a new account plays its first few games to try and detect smurfs.
However both of those exceptions only apply to new accounts, and it would be safe to say that neither K/D ratio nor number of wins have anything at all to do with your MMR once you've played a certain amount of games.

How big is the extra 4 seconds of quillspray stacking for Bristleback? Armlet Bristleback with BB stacks up on top of quill spray spam and stack with a 10 second limit is pretty powerful already.

is bloodseekers new "dispel" going to remove the same effects as a purge? or is it different?

What's the deal with Desolate-first Spectre? I see a lot of people talking about how it's great for stomping pubs but for some reason I just don't get it. I mean, it seems pretty rare that you're going to be alone with an enemy hero that early in the game unless you ult on top of their jungler or something. Are you just supposed to gank with teammates and hope that the enemy hero runs away so you get some alone time with him?

Most of the bug fixes were things that should not have been able to be dispelled so it should be a safe assumption.

The range for desolate to work is only 325. Even in a five on five teamfight it will often proc just because the range is so tiny.
