This is something that depends alot on the teamcomps in question and the pace of the game. You can't really go "if I don't have Radiance at X time I'm going to build something else". Generally you should sort of have a rough idea of how the next 10-15 minutes is going to pan out and base your decision on whether it's acceptable to go Radiance based on this estimate.

With the general lack of disables and poor initiation the radiance just seems to leave me a bit worthless, especially if your team tends to stumble into fights at stupid times and you need to blow your ult's active to get to them. Then of course is the difficulty in getting radiance if your support/team is doing a crappy job of giving you some room to farm. Diff/Drums always seemed nice to me because you can be more active in the mid game and can snipe heroes in the weird small skirmishes pubbers find themselves in. Then again I'm a terrible spectre to begin with, but I'm just curious if that matches anyone else's experiences. you're right, the yasha/drums/diffusal spec is often much more effective in pubs than people give it credit for. it's also a lot of fun to play.

The items i get are early tranqs and aquila into steam boots, urn and often a drum(maybe a RoH too) if that's of any relevance. I should get medallion more often though.

Oh how far we've come from a pure early game blink dagger ganker, to one of the hardest hitting late game carries

I should get medallion more often though. its not worth it to get stats on weaver, the extra damage that you will get from either of the skills alone is so much better than +2 stats maxed bugs is 450 physical damage on full duration, the armor reduction makes it even hurt more and makes your auto attacks hurt more, besides the fact that bugs will probably be ignored for atleast half of the duration in a fight, thats around 200 damage dealt, plus armor reduction and vision and the time spent attacking bugs maxed germinate is double damage every 2.5 seconds, germinate makes you hit so much harder and is crucial for that 1 last hit and makes you not over extend (situations where you have to back off after an attack, germinate hits after your attack hits so it gives you ample amount of time to back off and get the kill) all stats are gonna give you is 114 hp and 6 agi/int which arent that bad but considering what youre trading away, I dont think its worth it

When i play spectre generally i try to hit my enemy earlier. Spectre is one of the strongest 6 item carries but she can snowball like mad. Her Desolate is extremely strong at the beginning and (+65 PURE damage..) all her need is some kind of early game items. Her ulti works like KotL recall or Wisp Ultimate. You can farm freely and get ready when your team needs you at teamfights. Yasha-Drums-Diffusal is ok too. But generally i use Drums-OoV-RoA trio. I know i know roa delays my diffusal and yasha but it costs less then 1k and with the help of OoV kiting is not a problem. (RoA gives 15 damage and stats while a regular broadsword gives 18 damage for 1200 gold.) RoA and Drums are the most cost effective items in the game and these 2 fits my spectre build perfectly. Also level 1 dispersion increases your effective hp by %10 but level 2 dispersion only reflects %14 of your incoming damage. %4 is really small. And please please. Never ever build a vanguard on her.

i play randorn for about 80 of those games and play about 60 heros (finaly decide to have Puck, Sven, Dra.K, Kunka and Axe like the most i like to play) i do know just the baisc of all heroes but a few of them (like 10 or so) I do know well about items and starting to use a personal build But i do not know about counters or correct team comp (to me its a good initation set, good CC and AoE... and ofcourse a Carrie...) Do you think its a good idea to start Captain Mode?
