RoH is nice to build into pipe

I don't really like tranquils on BB, you have to tank a lot of damage and those boots are gonna break really frequently which kills your chasing speed and mobility

Thoughts on midas spectre when you are freefarming (ie 5/6 min midas) vs another free farming hard carry? radiance is just too slow and doesn't scale half as well (i think).

Well, the problem is the same problem that getting midas on any super lategame carry - it makes your early / midgame that much weaker. That being said, she's level dependent and needs farm really badly, but with that 1900 gold, you could have upgraded boots + bracer and be working your way to drums (or, if you like the yasha + vit booster into manta build, that'll bet you one of those items.)
The thing about spectre is that if you get some decent midgame items (common build is phase drums into either Diffusal or Manta), you can actually fight pretty well in the midgame with her.

fast 4-6 midas is good on pretty much any carry in pubs. and spec could really use that exp.

It's okay but I'd prefer to go for a radiance if I have that level of farm - midas doesn't give you nearly as much gold over the course of the game as radiance will, and radiance also gives you pretty strong teamfight with your illusions + desolate + casual vit booster or something. If you want to be effective earlier than radiance, I think I would prefer to not get a farming item at all and snowball off drums pms yasha teamfights into my bigger items - midas seems too middle ground for me. If you want to farm, go big, and if you don't, don't waste money on midas.

all that being said, this is pretty damn true in pubs and if you can get it at 4-5 minutes and you feel like it, it's probably not gonna hurt too much and will probably pay off pretty big when nobody else does anything for 25min.

I always found radiance spectre to be underwhelming in pubs, but maybe that's just me. With the general lack of disables and poor initiation the radiance just seems to leave me a bit worthless, especially if your team tends to stumble into fights at stupid times and you need to blow your ult's active to get to them. Then of course is the difficulty in getting radiance if your support/team is doing a crappy job of giving you some room to farm. Diff/Drums always seemed nice to me because you can be more active in the mid game and can snipe heroes in the weird small skirmishes pubbers find themselves in. Then again I'm a terrible spectre to begin with, but I'm just curious if that matches anyone else's experiences.

the games i go radiance on spec are pretty much won already. radiance is a strong item but its just expensive and relic alone isnt very good and costs 3800. i prefer items like yasha/defusal

What's a good build on Ogre Magi? I like him as a lanesupport who sets up ganks or then just full-on roamer, so far I've been building boots, wand, urn and then arcanes. After that should I aim for general utility like mekanasm and pipe or more into ganking/initiating items like eul's or sheep?
I've just played some 50ish games so the skill-level of both me and my opponents isn't that high yet ^^ In pub games I just feel like general team utilities like meka and pipe tend to be rather useless as the general chaos level escalates rather quickly and it is hard to make even a three man push happen.

some ppl get orb of venom on him. the item progression depends on how the game is going. if you're doing well and scoring assis/kill gold, i like to go for arcane into aghs. if im not doing all that hot i would still get arcane, but go into a mek afterwards if no one on the team is, or drums. it all depends on whos on your team and what items they are choosing to go. personally i would always get a drums if non of my teammates are getting it.
