Every game 5 agi heroes vs 5 agi heroes, 3 people leaving, no wards and nobody with tp scroll. I'm seriously starting to lose motivation to play Dota2 and kinda want to go back to hon. Please persuade me otherwise. Make friends with people from TL who are also learning the game and start queuing with them. I don't know why you're having such a bad experience, it seems really unlucky.

I was playing Doom vs Jakiro. And every time he would lay down Macropyre I would stand in it and activate Blademail. I would see Jakiro's health start dipping, but after he distances himself a bit it stops doing damage.

Returns any damage you take (after reduction) to the unit that dealt the damage. You still take the damage. Damage is returned as pure damage. Lasts for 4.5 seconds, costs 25 Mana, and has a 22 second cooldown. Blade mail cannot reflect damage taken from another suit of blade mail. only 4.5 secs

It's not surprising to me that you're getting bad games, it's the standard in low MMR. Around my level, I'm always truthfully surprised if there's a single ward placed all game which I didn't place, and even more so if a gem is bought on anything other than a pubstomper having a hardtime killing someone with a shadowblade. Since you have a great win percentage right now, you just need to keep going.

It never became an issue since we stomped them that game, but I was pretty curious as to how all the return damage interacts. It interacts normally with Return because Return only reflects damage from attacks. Spectre attacks Centaur->Centaur Returns damage back to Spectre->Spectre disperses damage back to Centaur. Dispersion doesn't trigger Return again because it's not an attack. With Blademail, at least in DotA 1, the Blademail damage reflect trigger would turn itself off after activating for a given instance of damage so as to prevent infinite loops. I would assume that this behavior is in DotA 2 as well. So the interaction would be Spectre receives damage->disperses damage at Blademail->Blademail reflects damage back to Spectre->Spectre disperses the Blademail damage->interaction ends because Blademail trigger is disabled for this damage instance.

Assuming you had autoattack on, and bound "stop" to your mousewheel, then just spun the wheel (while standing next to a centaur obviously)... Like, would it be capped at 1 return per "tick" or wat? ![]()

Its not so bad now. | ||

Is it like 110 damage every cast and 30 of that is delayed, or is the first hit 80 damage, the next one 110, next one 140?

Is it like 110 damage every cast and 30 of that is delayed, or is the first hit 80 damage, the next one 110, next one 140? You deal the base damage each time you cast the spell (80 damage at lvl 4). For each time that the target has already been hit by quill spray in the past 10 seconds (independent for each hit), you deal an additional 30 damage. Example: Let's say you cast quill spray - that does 80 damage. 3 seconds later, you cast another quill spray that hits the same unit - that does 110 damage (You had 1 stack on the unit). 3 seconds after that you cast another quill spray - that does 140 damage (You had 2 stacks on the unit). Let's say you now wait 5 seconds and cast another quill spray. Well, 3+3+5=11 seconds have passed since you hit the first quill spray, so that stack drops off the counter and you still deal 140 damage. (80 damage + your 2 remaining stacks). Edit: I lied, split time is 0.5 seconds, but invulnerability time is 0.1 seconds.
