Playing with same-level friends doesn't help much either, we just get rolled by an actual team with more inter-team experience than us. I tried out the IXDL thing, but everyone got called autistic too many times for me to want to try again... + Show Spoiler +I wouldn't have posted, but radiance rush gyro and MoM pl pushed me over the edge.
I see where you are coming from. When I play on my main account the games are good but that is in the upper half of Very High MM. There are still occasional bad games here and a low amount of flamers, but they aren't common.
When I create a new account it takes a while until I reach a place where 1-2 people per game aren't making stupid choices. Not strange, all out stupid such as not levelling spin (at all) on jugger on a hard lane.

Is there a way to break witch doctor's ult as witch doctor? In D1 all you had to do was right click. It seems in D2 you have no choice but to live out the duration of the ult once you put it down. Ive tried ESC, right click move, attack move, Hold position, and cast other abilities. None work.

(S)top would probably cancel it. It's not the same as hold position

I wish I could say I tried (S)top. I'll feel like an idiot if that's the only key I wasn't hitting. I was hardcore Nerd-Raging earlier, almost smashed my keyboard I was so mad I couldn't figure it out haha.

Do you have auto-select summoned units on? If so you might have the ward selected and not your hero (you can manually select the ward and have it target people). I don't know if this is the case but it could be.

The better question is why the hell did you have a heart

you have to be below full HP, and heart has to be off cooldown
heart on wisp owns maybe he was mid or something

I do have auto select units, and I thought this may have been it but it's not. I would re-select WD and wouldn't be able to move. I'm yet to try the (S)top hot key. Who knows maybe it's something else in my set-up that is stopping it.

Heart rocks, and besides. What if it was late? After Soulring and/or meka and/or manaboots and/or magicstick, heart is a really nice item. As stated above, overcharge drains HP, If not hit, the heart should start healing and when ever you tether it gives that regen ^^.

since the change what time do i pull the dire top camp by the 2nd tower?

Heart is a great item on wisp, in a long game with many assists it's not unfeasible to get it.

Why has invoker fallen out of style so much? It seems like he could bring so much to any team fight focussed composition.

He no longer is a middle lane powerhouse after his base attack damage got nerfed, in addition to the other nerfs to typical invoker items such as drums and force staff. That plus the metagame shift to more early teamfights and pushes means that the Invoker doesn't have the time to farm up the necessary levels and items to make his spells good.

actually i disagree about the last point you made. QW invoker is still great early game, the only reason it isnt used is as you said, the base dmg nerf. if it wasnt for the nerf, i think wed still see a lot of invokers using QW. if you can find a situation where invoker can win his lane/get free farm (maybe an aggressive trilane and a team composition which invoker fits well with), i still think invoker can be a good pick.

If wisp is warding and buying support items I don't see how he'd ever get 5.5 k gold to buy a heart. If he has that much farm thats so much farm taken away from your carries but w/e

What is the trick to dealing with 5 man dota? Some games the enemy team will group up as 5 and roam and push heavy together and I don't know how to deal with it...it can be hard working getting all 5 team mates to defend a tower and if you have any less than 5 often you will just lose the fight.
