Sven + ult + battlefury + empower + daedalus crit + reverse polarity = 500-ish*2.7*1.55 = 2100 to the entire team. Wonder if it's ever happened in a real game =D

So if you have 2 Bfuries a target next to your target will take 35% twice and not 70%. Which means heroes like void can dodge parts of the damage from a target who has multiple cleave sources.

I know it was like this in D1, but is it confirmed to be treated as multiple damage sources in DotA 2? E.g. does having multiple Battle Furies clear multiple Refraction charges from TA? Because by and large many effects that were treated as multiple damage sources in D1 got consolidated to be single sources in D2.

What is/are the proper way(s) to play Broodmother, is she even good (well I assume not to pick her vs an AoE comp), and what late game item should you go for her (I know you want Vlads, Soul Ring, BKB, and Treads...what else?) edit: More specific than "How to play BM": I'm more confused on how to play Broodmother late game. Do you try to carry while farming via split pushing/jungling?

BM was always mehish...with the emergence of Magmus + Bounty buff they completely dominate the off-lane now. So she's sorta bad....anything flies in pubs though! Level 1 Web, max web and Q can get ultimate at 6 or later. Use your webs to destroy all the trees. Farm the lane, if there is too many sentries call for a gank from middle, buy your own sentries as well. Once you're a bit higher level and if the lane is still rough you can abandon it and farm the enemy jungle. All Brood REALLY needs is a BKB + treads imo. Vlads way way later, that is straight out of oldschool. Soul Ring > Vlads, Vlads has no purpose now. Majority of Chinese play BM with Midas+Soul ring into BKB. Then whatever situation requires after, like BFly or Monkey King. If you're not opting for Midas, Orchid is a more risky / fair choice to control the enemies. Although you are now a glass cannon without BKB so be careful. GL. Most important thing to know: She fell out of favor from competitive play because of the nerf to her avatar. She fugly now .

Basically you just have to do the normal pushing, but be super aggressive whenever possible. Try not to miss any last hits, and if they bring along sentries, bring your own. I generally start with soul ring recipe + branches + regen and a clarity or something, but generally the most important is the soul ring recipe. Once you have soulring the lane is a piece of cake. Generally most heroes cannot withstand your burst if you get even a partial surround on them with spiders. Usually my build involves maxing spawn spiderlings, getting at least two points in web, one point in incapacitating, and then getting ulti. Sometimes I'll max web and spawn if I know I can't get a kill, or if I'm being harassed a lot, but usually against pubs you're able to get one or two kills. The aggressive style of play (and sending your broodlings into the jungle to farm) nets me an orchid between 11 and 15 minutes. At that point you're basically unstoppable 1v1, so you just keep split pushing and it keeps pressure off the rest of your team. You just use spiderlings to keep watch in the jungle (as they farm) so that you're not met with any surprise ganks.

She falls off lategame and isn't the best mid-game carry, but it's been working for me, you can always try it out.
