Forget Bloodstone, get Phase Drum Eul's Yasha for the MS play and zoom around at 478 base and haste while Phase is active.

I agree with dropping bloodstone
ideally you should go phase and euls for the movespeed. bloodstone on top of that gives you a whole bunch of useless stats besides the hp and hp regen. the mana and mana regen isn't needed because you won't run out assuming there's at least 1 arcane boots holder and you still have your bottle. 110 mana for swarm plus 90? for silence and a couple hundred for ultimate still leaves a huge amount of mana for your swarm spam mid game. don't agree with the above build (yasha and to a lesser extent drums) however, because dp isn't tiny. getting yasha solely for movespeed purposes isn't a worthy investment. drums is a decent item but the speed dp farms at with his swarm and ultimate allows her to go for a bigger item quicker without losing effectiveness early. just don't get over confident with your ultimate early on and rambo in, position yourself decently and you should survive early game skirmishes allowing yourself to save up for a bigger item. shivas, heart, pipe, hex or even skadi would be better imo

Thanks for the reply. For death prophet I'm copying a build a friend showed me where i get arcane boots, eventually disassemble them to build the final item for bloodstone, then use the boots of speed to make phase boots (at which point I no longer need the mana regen of arcane boots). I'm more asking what lategame items i should after that though? If I'm a tanky hero should i be considering heart of torrasque? That seems like it would allow to better help pushes in conjunction with my ult. There was also an item that cost 4700 that let me cast a circle of frost around myself that seemed pretty good (forget the name)


after bloodstone I suggest you go Boots of Travel instead so you can go anywhere on the map and push multiple lane, next is heart so that you can absorb more damage during your ulti and to top it off Refresher Orb for double Ulti

Shadow blade is also good since you can Ulti then shadow blade and if they dont have detection, they cant target you (as long as you dont attack or cast spell)

Also sny gives more mvt speed than yasha. I believe dp can go max mvt speed without the active on phase.

im confused ...
which items can i get from the sideshop?

Arcane boots says i can get boots (confirmed) and e-booster there.
Sideshop syas there is no e-booster to sell.

is that only a mistake for the sideshop-entry, or are there more items missing?

The lvl 4 swarm is actually 165. It is quite a lot. One pair of arcane boots will barely let you cast one more swarm each 55:e second. big mana regen is really important to not run out of mana during a drawn out fight. Euls is awesome on death prophet sure. But I still think bloodstone is really good for her. You are supposed to push and win rather early with her. You are supposed to be the main target for the enemy team when going 5v5. Having bloodstone will boost your team if they actually manage to kill you. And if they do you will respawn shortly because of the reduced respawn time with some charges letting you comeback into the fight before your enemies respawn to push those precious raxes.

I think bloodstone is needed because it fits so well with the way you are supposed to play her. Force the issue and push their base everytime your ult is off cd.

A basic tl;dr that helped me in the beginning is that all boots (except for tranquils and travels) can be completed from just the sideshop. On top of that the key items you can also complete from there are Hood, Helm of the Dominator and Oblivion Staff. That's 5 things to remember but includes lots of components. Besides that I'd say the only truely important thing is the Blink Dagger.

Valve has been very resistant to showing players persistant stats (or any hint whatsoever of their MMR/ELO). One time, players discovered a console command to figure out some kind of MMR (nobody could really translate the numbers) and Valve patched it out very rapidly. So most likely, there won't be rankings but MatchMaking will continue to be "Ranked" play and then Lobbies will continue to be "Unranked" play.

I don't think even Valve are certain on this one, they are gauging how the community responds to no visible KDR/MMR/ELO/etc. Not even a visible Win/Loss for any1 except yourself.

Sorry for double post, but I have a quick question: Does anybody know of a quick calculation of how much gold razing an opponents base is worth to a team? I ask this because Winning teams often have ~40K gold advantage, but the game sometimes felt like it was very close until 1 big teamfight -> 3 lanes of rax + throne GG.

Like, there are 3x tier 3s plus 2x tier 4s, plus a bit extra for any lasthiting of buildings and raxes, but I don't know how much team bounty T3 and T4 towers give, etc.

Basically, If 2 teams were even, then a teamwipe + complete razing of base, what would the gold difference be (approx is fine)?
