 but i have some questions:i love playing support (the guide here is wonderful) with vengeful spirit, as i like her skillset. now i play with a friend who plays sven lately - so we lane together, i try to deny only and harass and he trys last hits. that leads me to have not much money sadly  i try to babysit him, heal him with my healing pot if he needs to, buy currier and crow, and then go for boots and then mek. now my questions:- in "pro" level games i see people with mek around 15:00 - how can they get so much money? i finish it roughly around 22:00 or later (as i tend to die 2-3 times in the lane). is it ok to "steal" farm from the carry just to get mek earlier? i also tend to be underleveled compared to the carrys as i try also (if its suitable ofc) to stack ancients for sven later on.- my item build is something like this: currier, tango, healing pot, slippers -> flying currier -> boots -> wards for seeing ganks coming (mostly at runespots) -> mek -> arcane boots to help team with mana after that i have no idea - ofc wards / dust if necessary - but itemwise? i tryed to aim for sheep stick, but mostly i dont get the money as the carrys in my team try to farm more and in teamfights i dont kill and just do debuff, stun, and swap (offensive or defensive). any suggestions there? and another question: how good is force staff on VS? i mean it as an escape item after a swap of the enemy carry in my team and me being between many not friendly looking guys?  thanks in advance | ||

You shouldn't have such a rigid item build. At the beginning of the game, make sure that your team has both courier and one set of wards (coordinate with the other support as to who gets what). Don't get slippers of agility, they don't build into anything useful. Even though you're an agi hero, your most important stats are int and hp. Mek is always good but if there is someone else getting it on the team you should aim for something else, as vengeful isn't always the best Mek carrier. This is due to the nature in which she often is first to die in teamfights, sacrificing herself to swap the enemy carry into your team, and forcing yourself to use the Mek early before you die even if it's not the best time for it. Force staff is a great item on any support hero. It can also help you get to safety after a swap, as you mentioned. If you ever find yourself with a ton of gold that you shouldn't have, focus on support items which also give yourself some survivability. Aghanims is a great option for hp and mana and buffs your ult. Sheep stick is another great one. Remember that wards etc are still your highest priority though. | ||

is there maybe a better mek carrier than venge? i like her cause with the short duration stun and with sven's stun we can often get some kills in the lane above lvl 3. the 2nd skill is good for scouting in the woods if you expect a gank incoming or a hero waiting there / pudge being nasty. the 3rd just increases the dmg in fights and the swap is very situational (and i also have to admit i'm very conservative with using it, which i have to learn more ofc too). maybe i oversee some hero who has a similar helpful skillset? and for the gold - i have read that there are items that i could buy and hand to the carry - but thats only consumeables right? and do i need a BKB or is that a waste of money as i will die nevertheless? | ||

tiny throws cent sometimes from outside your vision range then its stun + cent stun + nuke then tiny supports with his stun if needed and they can tower dive you so easy. I played a game the other day where tiny rushed blink in no time. It just crushes a lane so hard. Jugger couldn't farm because I was perma dead lol | ||

Sheepstick or agahanim depending on how good swap is in the game. Bloodstone gives you the least utility and in an even game you won't be getting many charges AND you can't expend that mana and respawn times don't matter for VS really. And the heal on death is not something to count for. In terms of raw stats agha is better and in terms of utility both alternatives are better sooooo... yeah | ||
