Look up a replay of RTZ for more details, should be some around in one of the free2download tournaments. I think you can download a replay even if you don't have the ticket to the tourney. Just go to dotabuff and look up the match ID, search that Match ID in Dota and you'd be able to get the replay. That's how I got IceIceIce's record breaking tidehunter game. Fuck and I often buy tickets just to get replays. It doesn't work anymore, they fixed it almost a year ago. You were able to download and view replays via Match IDs, but at some point it was mentioned in some random comment on Reddit and fixed two days later. I tried reversing the mechanism the client uses to distinguish tournament replays from regular ones, but to no avail.
For real? IceIceIce's record breaking tidehunter game (highest networth in <30 minutes) happened within the year only and I was able to get the replays even if I didn't get the ticket....:/
Maybe it works for some tournaments and for some, it does not?

if oracle is chanelling fortunes end and goes invisible, is it disjointed?

On August 03 2015 11:34 BluemoonSC wrote: if oracle is chanelling fortunes end and goes invisible, is it disjointed? Fortune's End can be disjointed by turning invisible. When disjointed, Fortune's End will hit the target's last known position, so in order to fully dodge Fortune's End with invisiblity you need to move 215 units (the spells AoE) away from your original position after becoming invisible.

Is there a reason teams never siege the T4 towers, even when it's a 5v3 and they are super far ahead? It doesn't make sense to me, you should be easily able to win if they try to fight you, or at least force their buybacks right?

To clarify: Oracle can continue channeling if Oracle becomes invisible. The projectile part of the move will only be disjointed if the target becomes invisible.

You can't really force buybacks and leave when you're hitting T4 towers the way you can when you're sieging T3s. When you're at T3s, the distance/time required for those buying back to get to you usually means you can just turn around and leave when the buybacks are popped (and even that's questionable depending on the heroes--there are heroes like Batrider that make even trying to force buybacks off a T3 siege questionable). You can't do that with T4s. The T4s are sufficiently close to the fountain that you really don't have time to escape on reaction if the enemy team double buybacks and fights you. You're going to be forced to fight, and probably be in a situation where your team is all at half health/mana while the enemy team is all fresh because they're coming from the fountain. If you get wiped in that situation, the enemy team well more than makes back the cost of 2 buybacks.

Hmm... It seems to me like the main reason I don't see teams siege the T4 towers is that if it's obviously safe to do so, the other team has already gg'd.

I mean unless you're sure you can end the game right there, getting another lane of supers is usually worth more than breaking T4s. And if you think they have buybacks, its safer to break T3s for the reasons i stated before.

i think the only reason you would go for chip dmg on t4s instead of another lane is the t2s are still up on the other lanes

how do you edit the recommended in game items for each hero?

It's only in Source 1 though. Otherwise you can use other peoples' builds by clicking the book icon in the top left and selecting the build you want.

buybacks arent even the biggest problem when sieging t4 if youre at their t4 and they are only buying back now, then theyre stupid (unless its a rare case of them needing 10 gold and they had to wait it out) even if you could safely get 1 or 2 t4 without the threat of buy back, its usually better strategically to go for another lane of rax because of the map control you get from it. taking the t4s gives you 1 lane of rax + 2 tower gold. in a fairly even game this isn't a big enough advantage for you to force fights whenever you want, because 1 bad fight could still leave you with 2 lanes of rax down. taking a 2nd lane of rax rather than going for the t4 gives you map control to further starve your opponent, and in the worst cast scenario where you get teamwiped somehow, even if the opponents get 2 lanes of rax of their own the map is evened out. so basically: going for t4 gives you instant gold advantage and 1 lane of rax with a possibility for you to lose a fight and go 2 rax down and lose map control vs going for 2nd lane of rax which gives you gradual gold advantage, better map control and in the case you lose a fight, the map will even out

Currently what are the #1 offlaners? Im going to go play some dota which its been a year since I have played. Alot has changed can someone fill me in?

Imho lining setups have become more flexible over the last year (or more precisely, over the last patches). 2-1-2 without a "classic" offlane happens a lot.
Regarding solo offlaners, at TI5 we often saw ds, undying, tusk.

Why isn't Puck being picked in TI 2015?

He's also not super amazing as a "utility" mid either, seeing as he has no reliable stun and a silence.
He's good when paired with specific heroes or against certain heroes, but none of the heroes he goes really well with (e.g. Lycan) are popular heroes right now, and he's not really a hero that's purely useful based on his own strength.
