Im not sure tbh, someone probably has a good answere. But from my perspective they didnt look sharp at all after the first win vrs Liquid, drafts got strange and theier plays were at times straight bad. Gambits aggression was very good and hit us hard, EG had no way of playing Dota rly.
EG for me tilted themselves out of the Liquid series and that tilt proved stupidly costly in the Gambit series. If they have not woken up they will lose to OG and be out fast of this tournament. They play Secret in a bo3 if they manage to somehow beat OG tomorrow as well.
To go from dominated Liquid in game 1 to changing the draft and tilting yourself out of the series it felt like, then the gambit series they are picking the likes of Terrorblade carry vs a bara/engima/lycan line up which just wants to run at you lol.
Shitty performance from the team during the group stages. Got outdrafted in the game against OG. Really hope they have a great bootcamp and can place well at TI.

Nope they got outplayed. Hard. Kyle explained it best - they had a HUGE advantage, and didn't push it when they could. Instead they run around killing Topson and Ceb around their t2 area. 15 min Radiance manta - you push. And OG needed 4-5 heroes to kill just alchemist alone. Instead they farmed... Its a weird situation as they all have so much experience, and felt like they had the end game in the bag against all that mobility? 6 slotted slark? How? Whoever made the call to farm 20 mins in - lost the game. As simple as that.

That was so frustrating to watch rly... why didnt EG push with the 20k lead at 20 mins??
Alch even though was really farmed was too weak to frontline a 20 min push without his ult. I think they wanted to end quickly, like TNC's 3rd game today. Radiance illusions are a pain in the ass to deal against, also their healing ward was too vulnerable to be killed without OG having to commit anything. OG got the better draft, they had the easier game plan wich is to hold until late game when EG doesn't have any burst to win fights.
Disclaimer: didn't watch first 25~ mins and i'm trying to read from a draft/end game perspective.
Its fine, get the shit performances out the way they clearly dont understand this patch just like many other teams in this tourney who have gone out, Secret etc. They went into it trying what they believed in and wasn't good, nothing lost though so now a huge break to focus on grinding to TI. They will bounce back there. This lan has proven that a lot of different results happening, shame another year and no EG win at a major but TI is always the goal.
sumail said on his stream the other night that they all played like shit in Moscow. Can't really disagree as they all seemed to be doing the usual stuff but without the execution. Hoping they pull it together for TI
lately there's been lots of rtz Voids and Sumail Gyros (going travels/veil) in pubs. Fly is also pubbing but I didn't notice anything special in the heroes

Every damn time they are good but missing something. They didn't find that something this DPC, but i believe they could be the team that figured stuff out this year
