Don't get me wrong, it's amazing how they keep getting better and are now going toe to toe with the best, but it only leaves me wanting even more. I want my boi RTZ to finally win a Valve event

Yeah for me they took their eye off the ball vs Liquid and thought they could just play like they did vs them in the previous rounds and Liquid just went fast pace and then they just fucked up draft and got well and truly beaten.
I also hope they take down EPICENTER. Qualifiers start today btw if you didn't see. About to go 2-0

God dammit EG. Lost to Forward gaming so now they are bound for playoffs unless its not head to head and somehow FWD lose to Complexity which surely won't happen. Sigh into the bracket they go for the last spot!

Relax, EG will qualify. They won't lose in a Bo3. And I have more games to watch.

Haha well the game was so stupid. They had just held and killed wraith king outside of base none of them had buybacks all finished and instead of taking rax they try go for throne which takes them ages and then they all come alive and they just die 1 by 1 without buybacks and its just over xD

I think EG mostly just struggle drafting vrs Secret and Liquid.

Woah, I didn't see anything about it here, but saw on Youtube that Evil Geniuses just posted a few games of EG vs Spirit on the new patch from the "Adrenaline Cyber League".

Well it was weird i watched live and was like wtf. The caster said they arrived in Moscow that day i think so im not to sure and was new patch so yeah i don't think you can read to much into it. They picked all heroes from the previous patch where for example game 1 Spirit picked DP mid and got aghs and were just stupidly strong.
Hoping in the great british isles our boys turn up big and take down this tourney :D
First game vs Secret though is offft!

I'm slightly worried for EG because of all the good teams in this group. One off day can lead to an early exit from the group stages.

+ this new patch might make games kinda awkward... teams wont know what to do properly in mid and lategame etc.

Amazing Play by Sumail's SF. I'm glad the current EG is drafting towards his strengths. I hope this continues and he's allowed to play more diverse/versatile characters that can snowball.
Despite the fact I don't think RTZ is a great carry, he's doing a lot better in terms of not dying as much.

I like this style of drafting. Just pick heroes that are good for the game instead of picking one or two hero(s) every time.
The Omni pick was so fucking good.
