EG just getting out drafted a bit and also sometimes switch off / lack in team fights randomly which can have a big effect. When they are all on point and strong though they deliver strong one sided games and finishes. However when it goes wrong they lose 2-0 to OG who they were like 4 series victories in a row over them up until that point.

I don't think that qualifies as getting beat regularly.Thats because OG were beaten soundly in China their only other lan apart from this one. The online cups they were getting beat regularly also. Virtus Pro did well to qualify for Boston and are a crazy team that hasn't been studied as much but are showing good games with a strong squad. They have 3 series prior to this, where 2 of them were at MDL, where EG came in with a huge advantage, because most of their players have played together several times, while most other teams were trying to gel with their new rosters; new players entirely, and then Captain draft which is a different mode.

I think that qualifies as getting beat regularly actually, and I saw the games except the bo1 against Empire and theier opponent looked alott better in those games. But OG are looking alott better, and I think thats with S4 and Ana finding theier roles and way of playing with OG, this team will just get better with time, and can be a contender for first place at the Major.

And at MDL they lost first to Newbee in the semis and then to EG in the Losers bracket final. Based on the number of games they have played online and at LAN after TI6 they only have a winrate of about 50%, kinda means they been beat regularly...

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/dota2/Elimination_Mode/2 http://wiki.teamliquid.net/dota2/MarsTV_Dota_2_League/2016 Which EG are a total of 6W 2L (3-0Series) the 2-0 that OG gave EG in this tournament was a complete surprise. Especially considered how the previous series went but it doesn't matter you are only as good as you were the previous day in any sport. I guess right now OG must be considered favourites due to the 2-0 before. So looking forward to it, come on EG lets wrap up another summit win :D

It was a surprise they beat EG so easily, and it is surprising have improved with so few matches. I still consider EG favorites, because it is easier correcting a loss, than repeating a win, and EG have had more time, and has had better basis to gel, due to their familiarity with one another, stretching much longer than this iteration of EG. And lastly due to the trend of coming off wins, are more likely to succeed than a team that just comes off a loss.

Alott of good games, a couple of fail drafts, and I hope they dont get caught on safelane lvl 1 again ![]() They gonna be even stronger at Boston. PS: Heard VP are staying US until Boston, im guessing alott of scrims between teams next week, and an interesting Boston Major to follow ![]()

Oh well we still learnt something im sure and they showed they had a few good decisions in them in the late late late game. Now im sure its hard work scrimming until Boston which i fancy us to place very high. OG on the other hand showing us Bulldonger still lives, what a great team loool D:

The last game as dota goes is awful to watch, it is cat vs mouse rat which not everyone likes to see. Especially when it is so long and it gets to a point in the game where it is 1 vs 5 dota aka NoTails red bear running around taking a tower or a rax and running home. That is that style of Dota which we had for about 3 months from 2015 - early 2016 when Alliance "were back" until it got nurfed back out of the game. Now its captains draft and there was literally 23 heroes left in the pool so i have no problem with that one off game. I just said my opinion a bias one and now your calling me out on it for "hating" Also as discussed with someone else, EG vs OG is now equal in series and games won 3 Series Wins Each 9 Games Won Each (Stats from this season aka these rosters)

EG has a continuing problem of giving up leads. I don't know if they try to make too risky of a play or what, but it happens way more than it should.
