Ofc not everyone has to like them, they are fantastic players, with those its mostly a love/hate thing. But I dont realy see any good point for you coming into the EG discussion thread stating "Crit fits well with the team cause he is not a likeable guy, just like rtz and sumail", you are wrighting like its a fact, when its actually your personal opinion, and these guys have some of the biggest streaming numbers and biggest fan bases... clearly they are rather well liked, and I cant recall any former teammates saying anything negative either. I think its sad with all the flame and shit these young guys get, Sumail was 15 when he broke into the scene... Rtz was 17 or something... They are always in the spotlight. They try to please us (the fans) with streaming and .. showing off theier skills as they are the top 0,01% in the world, but everytime they do, they seem to be flamed even more, they cant win rly. Ok, sorry for the rant, nothing personal just go somewhere else with the flame ty!
So I would just like to point out a small flaw in your thought process. Having high streaming numbers or a lot of fans doesn't mean that you are likeable. It just means that you are entertaining. Like you said before to the guy calling him unlikeable. He doesn't know him personally. Well, neither do his fans.
And though I have never heard anything bad about Crit or Sumail. There have been reports or at least rumours of Rtz not being exactly easy to get along with. Of course, these events are very muddled and its hard for the public to know what's actually going on.
I am not saying the other guy should have said what he did. Just that, in my opinion, there is a flaw in your argument.

I would dare to say I like most of the pople I find entertaining, hard to find someone you dont like entertaining tbh, but that might just be me. And im not saying any of those guys dont do "bad" things, I dont know them personally myself, and I also see them rage and flame on streams when they get to hot headed. My point were more that, why would he come to the EG thread just to flame and bash "our" players... But as I said, got a bit carried away

According to the new Zai interview with Hotbid and slacks, ppd himself proposed to step down as a player and transition into a management role. Apparently he was already doing some management stuff anyway so it kinda seems like the natural thing to do. I also can't imagine that ppd, one of the most outspoken players wouldn't say shit if he gets cut from the team as the captain. If you followed the streams and social media ppd also hangs out quiet a lot with the new team and seems to be on good terms with everybody, would be kinda weird if he got kicked/removed/voted out/whatever.

I think for the most part, it's likely he did it of his own choice. With Fear retiring and the next potential rosters to build, ppd simply might have seen an opportunity to transition out of playing. Of all players, ppd strikes me as the one that would be most concerned about his long-term future. (And it's not like he + Fear don't end up coming back in one of the post-major shuffles.)
I've also got the distinct impression, from his vlogs, that the sheer amount of travel has bothered him. He's probably been traveling for ~30 weeks a year for the past 3 years. That takes a pretty hefty toll, and maybe he just wants to be stationary for a while. So there's a lot of unsurprising reasons he could want to stop being a full-time progamer. (Not the least of which he's won a TI & "retires" as the highest earning progamer of all-time.)
But, let us also not kid ourselves: the first 6 months after TI don't matter a lick. The Chinese scene has shown this to be quite true.
He was indeed voted out, but I think he's probably taking it rather well and just waiting for his comeback. The stake in EG and a nice cushy job is probably keeping him from being too salty about it.

How do you know he was voted out? Was it confirmed somewhere?

He did tweet about the hand that feeds, before he deleted it. Not a confirmation per se, but definitely suggests its more than just him doing it on his own accord.
Just thought, one of the worst parts about no PPD being on EG now, we don't get vlogs of them training when they go to foreign countries Literally without the streams of the current 5 players i doubt we will see much from them when they are at LANs

Thats true On the other hand we wouldn't get things like the ppd/GrandGranT/BreakyCPK Cast for MDL It seems like EG also has their own new Documentary in the works, which is apparently called Free to Play: EG I somehow still think ppd will show up to the Majors, be it as an Analyst/Coach/Manager or whatever, so we'll hopefully still see content from him, considering ppd has been working on his own personal brand a lot the past few years, I wouldn't be to worried. Especially since the details of his new position are yet to be announced.
PS: I only saw the last game, rather well played in the early and lategame, a few bumps in the midgame, but thats kind of expected vrs 4-5 midgame peeking heroes. How was the first two?

EG was leading game 1 and of course threw in the pit. VG was doing well game 2 but they did zero damage and eventually EG just rolled them. It was a convincing win.
Teams looking pretty good I think! A lot more scrappy than before from what I've seen though, looks like individual skill is carrying through a lot more right now. Nice to see that they closed out both series after being down, guess the mental aspect is there as well, dat fear coaching. Shame they don't play tonight!
Guys, Rtc and suma1l cant play together remember lololol
Great performance for first day of a lan together i thought. The "comeback" game is it right to call it in game 2 vs Vici where they looking dead a buried with cr1t dying left and right on Oracle. For them to show up so well. Loved how good Universe still looks too, the balance is insane. Suma1l and Rtc coming online all games and doing major plays, then Universe STILL manages to find his own farm and make even more plays. Such a fantastic day 1 for me. Don't wanna get to carried away though but its hard not too!
Oh also the versatility. Game 2 vs OG cr1t io, game 3, Zai io!

Is there evidence of this? Whatw as the full text of the tweet, screenshots etc, because I haven't heard about it anywhere
