I agree, I think ice3 on an SEA team makes a lot of sense given his situation. Given the nature of esports, no way I would move my family for a 1 year contract. Someone like Mind_Control on EG would be cool to see if something like that happens.

If Ceb retirees from OG, and now S4 from A, there seem to be a lack of offlane talent in EU. Saberlight so have a shoot at good EU team. OG had 33 as standin on Midlane and actually played his offlane pretty nice from there, so hope they pick him up. But doing good on Tundra. But lets see what happens.

I wonder if any higher tier team is gonna pick up Ammar. From what I've seen in pubs etc he seems to be a player on the rise and maybe worth looking into.

MSS out of QC, wants to play in EU.
Regarding Alliance - maybe harsh but Niko is the only real T1 player on the team. Handsken and Niko are best buddies which is a bit worrying since the former is not really good imo. He has a great game like 1 in 5.
S4 is a bit washed, there are offlaners out there that can replace him but the most important will be the captain.

Im not sure about EG, but I kinda want Rtz, Crit and Abed to stick together. Im undecided about Fly, buy im leaning too giving him another year.
If ice3 was motivated and all that I would probably want him to stay too, but I think he is leaving the team, this team needs a team player for offlane, like collapse and DM. Is there no NA talent out there? :D

I personally think mss is very very good, he has played offlane before but i think he prefers position 4 now right? But i think he is a very good NA talent for that position if EG wanted to do that if iceiceice wants to stay in SEA because of his family which is more than understandable.
With just under a month to go before the DPC resumes, the next few weeks should be exciting :D

Not sure i agree about the lack of offlane talent here.
First, because i dont think S4 was up there as a talent himself with his recent performance.
And secondly, i do rate 33 as one of the players with the most potential as a offlaner worldwide. I think he is crazy good, given the current offlaners that are top tier ... he might have it to actually become the best offlaner.
And i think Khezu has what it takes to play offlane in a tier one team ... just has to find players suited to him.

ATF from Creepwave and Tobi from Vikin.GG(before he got replaced by Khezu) can also be mentioned as potential upcoming offlaner. MSS is also a more than capable pos. 3 player.

I also rate 33 highly, just said he is the best EU have besides Ceb and maybe Zai. All three very different players, and the way Tundra played in regional not sure 33 is looking for new team. For me Ceb was OG best player during TI and best offlane besides Collapse that played extremely well but with limited hero pool that will get nerfed partly because of his play during TI. 33 is imo the best micro manager offlane in dota so maybe new patch will make him better

Quiet before the storm I guess. Some of the bigger teams probably looking to mix things up, both Nigma and Liquid failing to qualify for TI. Team Nigma looking a bit lost whole year imo.

Ah OK, thanks for clearing that up.
Seemed that B8 actually had some results prior to TI (from what I understood mostly watson carrying), so if it's the same team they will likely qualify.

Well just in general who are gonna be the new teams. Having the same players on teams for years kinda makes the region stale at some point so new teams always shakeup the region making the matches more exciting being they are less predictable.
It was my tiny problem with TI8-TI9 time where few teams changed roster and the results were more or less the same which is kinda a bummer watching tournaments

This seems strange to me, too. Save_ was one of the most impressive players this TI to me - he plays a kind of 'idiot' style of support in that he's always pushing into enemy space and sometimes walks up a hill and dies... but the amount of times he'd be making these plays and succeed was impressive and not just lucky. If I was looking to improve my support roaming I'd absolutely be watching Save_ games to learn.

Boom is currently participating in a BTS Tournament, season 9. It has 2 Indonesian players and 3 Filipinos (skem, Yopaj and Tims). They're doing quite well for their first tournament in that roster.

I 100% agree to this, he is a very interesting 5 player. He is able to accomplish alott with very little gold/exp. I loved his skirsmishes deep into enemy jungle, stealing exp from junglers, setting up vision, tanking ganks etc. He also had some clutch saves and setup with Bane nightmare

Gorgc said something on his stream that a bunch of reshuffling is happening around Arteezy, will he rejoin Secret for a third time and will he take Cr1t with him? Rumours are still ongoing that Matu and YapzOr are going to retire. My wet dream would be a reunion of Matu with the Nigma-boys...revival of the TI-winning squad...but that seems very unlikely. ;(

I think we can also presume that qojqva is either benched or released as he was streaming yesterday from home while apparently the rest of Liquid are coming together for a bootcamp(zai is already in the Netherlands).

Thats still consistent with SeaNostra’s leak. According to him, it’s Gabbi 3 and Jerax 5 to complete the roster. He said Jerax is ‘in negotiation’ so that one is not guaranteed.

Fly on an SEA team is also really random, should be fun to watch. Honestly, even this change alone makes me much more likely to watch some SEA DPC games. This region hopping could be really big for viewership imo.

The Chinese season is delayed since many teams are still in isolation/not back in China after TI, but the roster lock deadline is still the same for them AFAIK

Like, come on, Jerax. He won two TIs back to back, retired at the perfect moment. And now he comes back to play for EG? Play Bulba drafts, try to carry RTZ’s ass to a major win, participate in the second ‘lets take VP’s carry and making him our offlaner’ experiment.
I just dont see how this doesn't just damage Jerax’s legacy. Anything but total domination by the team will be seen as a disappointment.

I watched Jerax stream a lot when he came back a couple of months ago and played 50 nyx games. It may sound like blasphemy but he seemed quite washed, I don't expect much from this EG roster.

My assessment of the new OG: When the core decided they were all going to walk, nobody bothered to notify corporate.

Taiga's a beast, Misha is decent, and rumors are ATF is one of those newcomers to look out for - it isn't like what we've come to know as OG started out as a bunch of powerhouses. I'm real happy to watch Taiga in a new home to see how he shines.
Also I have low expectations for EG regardless because I've just never felt good about RTZ pos1

I can't complain about the new team from OG (I can about the way they chose to retire). A captain that they know as a coach, Taiga is super good. Then 3 new young players that has the advantage to actually play the position they where chosen for.
Don't know them except from what I have read, two of them are 16 years old, and Yuragi should be carry with large hero pool. So that seems to copi a winning formula from Spirit.
OG wants to be underdogs so that got that going for them.

I'm probably biased. But I'm not sure that I'm ok with OG being in 1. Div with a team that has zero players of the old squad in it! Closed Qualifier invitation would be more up to speed!

Feel like nigma eg secret are winners by everyone else being way weaker (probably). But spirit won TI so we’ll see what happens this year.

Talon lost in SEA qual for div 2 to Ragdoll.

As others I don't see EG as much improved, if they had new coach I would like them better.
Had to tell if changes makes Secret better, they have talent but feel last edition had as well. Zai and IceX3 is so different from Zai. Same with Matu and Sumail, the new edition seems more greedy, actually the most greedy team I have seen.

Happy with all the exciting changes for most teams. Particularly excited for new liquid ngl ( I always liked their players but they desperately needed shakeup in their roster)
Secret roster looks insane ( Nisha + Sumail duo sounds horrifying if they get momentum in games ). New EG idk it looks like a fundamental change in their roster we'll see how they will do without their former captain.

Fnatic looks stronger but ngl kinda disappointed they changed their TI10 roster. They were becoming stronger and was not doing terrible.
No clue about the Chinese scene. I assume LGD will own
Same with CIS. The scene looks like a mess aside from Spirit
Personally I love all the teams with completely unproven blood like TNC, OG and all that. Team Spirit really paved way to allow new blood opportunities after their success.

I think he wanted to play for iG but couldn't because of some chinese rules on restarting contracts. Not 100% on the situation though. Not on a team at the moment as far as I know.
