Evil Geniuses revealed the second phase of their rebranding strategy with a new logo, and new jerseys. This come after a wave of hate that spawned from the dismantling of the old logo back in December. Even the founder of EG, Alex Garfield tore the organization a new one. Along side this announcement, they revealed that they were partnering with LG Electronics US moving forward. LG will be more specifically partnering with EG for the use and promotion of their LG UltraGear Gaming Monitors.

This isn't LG Electronic's first endeavor with an esports organization, already partnering with both Gambit Esports and FaZe Clan for the promotion of their gaming monitors. Though LG has been with FaZe Clan for over a year and a half, the partnership with Gambit Esports has been within this year. With more large corporations further investing into the esports landscape, we are likely to see more investment throughout the scene, which is even more important due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
