Exactly. Although, i wouldn't be surprised if Perfect World(Or whoever handles China) and ESL gets some privileges with the production side. Only two companies i'd let to host majors.

Starladder themselves said organising a lan with tickets is hard to make profitable. As i see it, this change in valve's approach means that the organisers have less financial risk in general, as valve covers all that stuff. Looks like a sweet deal to me, less risk and more jobsecurity if you may help out on a major tournament.

Starladder, Summit, DAC, ESL. dang & nothing really changes & the work still remains, only the cashflow and risk change a bit.

Edit: for other tournament organisers like dotapit league for example, it could mean it will be harder to get above 200k+ prizemoney. Or maybe not but that depends on themselves, their will be more competition tho. A change to captains- or randommode etcetc can help with that.

really good first day my job owns they literally have a channel in hipchat thats basically for dank memes. Has an irc bot that will post the first image that comes up for google searches and shit like that lol. And they work hard and do cool stuff.

yeah you know, i definitely was more nervous for this particular interview whereas the interview that got me hired with the district was something i did in my sleep lol

i guess its the fear of disappointing the people i know by fucking up or something idk. there were a lot of people being interviewed i hope that there wasn't anyone significantly more qualified than i am or something because that would suck.

that's pretty neat. i do pretty much the same thing except the dank memes are usually posted on my HW board by me..and groaned at by the kids
