if you were to apply a 'vanilla test' to dota spells I think ghost ship would be the best spell in the game. yea i know thats a totally pointless exercise in dota its just neat.

icefrog killed kunkka by remaking his X. he proly thinks he buffed it when its so much worse now a kunkka hasnt been picked in pro scene since his rmk... u used to get the occasional kunkka pick every now and then

just like tusk's "qol improvement" on the ult... tho that shards change was kinda legit
|
Tusk just needs his ult to not be so weird and inconsistent. There are times I have thrown that ult and it should have connected. But he jumps and nothing happens.
|
tusk ult change hardly changes anything. That's far from a reason why he wasn't and isn't picked.
|
it messed up the feel of prepping it ahead of time... but yea that's true it's not the same story as kunkka

Tusk is a bummer like Sven is a bummer. They are both cool, but don't do anything that another hero doesn't do better.

sven is the easiest anti-meepo carry in my book, much easier to execute than ember or even void

he wasn't even the losing factor in his losing game, his support zeus was legit too
like i know he's not consistently pro level but he was doing fine in FPL idk what spicy_curry was talking about
Synderen played a terrible zues that game r u serious. His ultimate was off cd the entire game especially when they had no vision of the opposing team. Most of the calls were from s4 anyway.

admittedly i missed like the last 10-15 minutes of that game but shit seemed solid and game seemed fine up until i stopped watching

yea i meant off, should be pretty clear tho
did you see his AA game 10/10 terrible wasnt level 6 till 15 minutes into the game

did you see his AA game 10/10 terrible wasnt level 6 till 15 minutes into the game i mean i didnt see any major misplays aside from randomly suiciding mid trying to save a doomed teammate... his other early death that messed with his leveling was like a 1 for 2 trade that gave sf full souls, and it was the earthshaker leaving for a greedy stack attempt that let sf die afterwards. he was just sitting behind the sf without pulling in a tri v tri like a good support, of course that gets you underleveled... i imagine the enemy team's trilane was just as underleveled if not worse

I always felt like the problem with Tusk is his skills scale too much for a support, but he's not high enough impact or safe enough to play 1 to 3 position. It feels like some utility part of one of his spells (snowball cooldown, snowball stun, shards cooldown, sigil's movement or attack slow, or something) should be more fixed and level independent. Especially since snowball movespeed scales with tusk's movespeed.

you could make an argument for 414 (or worse imo, 144) on support, but of course giving up extra nuke damage is always iffy edit on second thought 144 is probably more legit than 414, i forgot the stun duration scaled (albeit shittily)
