back when it was only jd and bts, bts took a ton of tournaments and used really shitty 2$ casters all the time and never ever casted with their proper casters. they pretended it was to """""discover new talent"""""" but in the end it was just always the same shitty ass barely comprehensible trash casters game after game. to me theyre the tortelini of broadcast studios, felt like the original ppl lost interest in dota long long time ago but dota was where they have had success so | ||

I dunno, I associate the early years of BTS with the tail end of DIY-feeling capital-E ESPORTS stuff, where there was a ton of enthusiasm for ESPORTS but not nearly as much professionalism as it feels like (to me at least, but tbh I barely pay attention now vs being super wrapped up in things things way back when) there is now. It's hard for me to not feel pretty nostalgic for that era! Also the BTS summit tournaments were good. | ||

When I got home from work yesterday and tuned into the stream, they had a slide with the starting times open. Aster-GG was planned to start at 10am (local time). So I checked what time it is now ... ah, 11.30 am! And the game hasn't started yet. Man I could rant for a long time about this shit... | ||
