It's not normal in Houston, but not unheard of to see weak tornados. This time was unusually severe

Yeah I can't think of any other time in my 26 years of living there that it was this severe in the area itself. I'm thankful my parents are okay but it's awful there

Life is okay.
Work is busy but fine. Just returned from 3 weeks in Japan. Had some nice dates recently. Especially one yesterday that was good. Bit stressed but nothing significant and more just life being a lot rather than work being a lot.
Got so many hours of PTO, can't wait to finish up our IPO process, it's taking up so much time at work. I think I have close to uh.. 350-400 hours of PTO to spend.

Sounds exciting, both the trip and IPO preparation. I'm just living as usual and have been picking up books again since last summer.
