Is there a resource somewhere for learning aoe4 build orders and general strategy? I never played the earlier AOEs but I'm having fun with the new one

Also super chill to watch.
the aoe4 meta is still evolving and we have to learn the counters to units a decent army composition. I'm super positive this hasn't happened yet.
I'd watch some theviper or other top leaderboard players in first person playing a civ i wanna learn as of now.

Historically I floated around 2,3-2,5k mmr. My highest MMR was only 3.7k but I got some tips: 1) Play a fuckton. When pressing buttons becomes 2nd nature, you will have time to think what to actually do instead of autopiloting. 2) Watch replays when you don't understand things. How did they have vision, where was their obs, how did AM catch up in farm, etc. 3) Don't tilt. Push your ego aside. 4) Try to make sure your teammates won't tilt. No flaming, always protecting these manchildren, always communicat "my bad", even if it wasn't. 5) Pick a role/some heros and play those until you get good at them.

Whenever I cared about climbing mmr, it was basically only 6ish heroes in 2-3 roles I'd be looking to play, prioritized by what was strongest at the time, and what I'm most comfortable with. If I was starting right now, I'd be looking to play pos4/5 bane/enchantress, with pos5 CM or a small handful of pos3 as backup. Beyond that, it's setting yourself benchmarks for your progress (I.E. my lane should be around level X with around Y gold at 10 minutes) and checking to see what went wrong if your expectations are off, and understanding the game at large based on how your lanes are going / went. Make mental notes on how you expect things to go (Like "This Slark is gonna be a problem when he gets diffu") and then actually check back in on that mental note to see how well you understand the game.

My friend just told me to play 1-3 heroes endlessly and one role. He was like divine and borderline immortal player on SEA
Stick to mastery apparently that's his way how he climbed mmr
|
You don't see many good players running more than 4-5 heroes regularly right?
|
Pros have huge heropools. I don't know any pros but people i know who hit divine like spammed a few heroes only (not that they can't play other heroes to some degree of decency) but they certainly climbed the ranks with a few heroes

So to sum up: - spam a few selected heroes for a couple of roles - play a lot - think about gameplan/timings
|
spamming heroes is how u get alot of mmr, not spamming heroes if how u get good at dota

When it gets going, csgo is easily the best esport game to watch.

can anyone recommend a decent, cheapish (<50 quid) webcam for meetings? microphone quality is irrelevant as I'm set up for that.
