dota will grip your attention with one, two, maybe three good wins every time you come back and then dump the toxicity of average games back onto you. unless you really learn stuff you'll never climb to more than average mmr. and even with very high mmr, even 8k and stuff, the toxicity never ends. it only will end with your own mindset to toxicity changing.
just look at high mmr streamers who still struggle with griefers, grief ("mald"?) themselves and stuff.

with your day job and limited amount of free time and like end 20s years of age, don't bother
do something pleasant instead.
