iirc before the last patch I could see the refraction thing around her but now i can't anymore... bug ? A lot of things in DotA are pretty subtle and the game expects you to know things a lot of the time and when TA dives your tower, expect her Refraction to be up or ready.
How can I tell if she is just trying to last hit or diving me. I CAN'T, but if I could see her refraction animation ( or at least the 2 buffs on her) I would be able to react properly. Still, I don't understand why you can see Invoker orbs and not the refraction.

That's stupid. Never could see them in DotA1 either. What I'm curious about is whether you could see the buff/debuff on her in DotA1 because they don't show now.
Maybe because there was no animation, as the guy above you said.

I don't know why you'd complain about not being able to see TA's refraction when like half the stuff in this game can jump you from longer than vision range.
As far as stuff that's hard to judge, TA's refraction hardly qualifies as the worst one.

You just click on the unit and see buffs. Same way you click to see mana.

Yeah the refraction buff not showing needs to be fixed imo.

How do you counter naga? If you don't have BKB then you can't kill her most of the time (ulti+tp too stronk), and it seems like she is actually a really good counter to BKB since you can focus them down but disable their team so they cant interfere, as well as entangle. Her laning doesn't seem particularly weak, so is there some weakness that I haven't seen yet?

Kill her illusions. she relies on illusions to deal damage w/ diffusal. If you have strong aoe nukers (earthshaker, lina, invoker, etc) you can remove something like 60% of her dps.

Lion is especially good at killing illusions, his mana drain and hex instantly pop any illusions they hit.

Bloodstone feels kinda imbalanced right now. Why did they give it 6 charges from the start? I remember it to be 1 stack in DotA. It feels like a snowball item now and some heroes profit way too much from that extra boost in midgame.
I haven't played many games of DotA II yet though.
Bloodstone has always been to strong/weak though. But 6 stacks seem overkill right now.

It no longer increases HP regen from extra stacks. Please read the description fully. It is nowhere near overkill.

keep track of the ulti cd. have lots of spells ready. she's not a top ban for no reason

OD is like TA - you dominate, while the rest of your team feeds to all hell, then you can't outcarry the 3-5 enemy carries and it's over.

Current bloodstone isn't OP at all, and it only really works on a few heroes. Like leshrac and storm spirit, i guess it could work on necrolyte as well.
Also naga is top tier pick, so yea, gud hero.

There are no item orders for every hero.
Everything is situational bar a few core items(Like blink dagger on sand king, for example).
Best tip is watch good players play and learn from them, or play and learn from experience.
